During Cyberslam 96, during the Shane/Cactus match, the fans chant "Ahmed Johnson". Is there any reason for this?

Im watching royal rumble 2012 and I just saw a weird edited moment where I think flair was susposed to kiss becky in order to distract her from charlotte but not only is the actual kiss edited out but what you see is flair flinching. It almost looked liked he raked becky in the face but not really. Becky slapped him and the commentators talked about flairs "disgusting act". If they didn't want to show the kiss why not edit that whole segment out, dub or erase any mention from commentary and make it look like becky never left the ring? Because it just looks awkward otherwise.

Watching Seth's 365 and they're actually talking about Dean leaving and showing The Shield's final match. I'm surprised.

Yesterday I watched Halloween Havoc 1996. Hogan's spiked-up wig was hilarious, but what a bizarre way to end a PPV.

Watching the WWE untold that was just uploaded today or yesterday about Rey mysterio and Eddie guerrrero. This documentary along with others just shows how much behind the scenes footage WWE have and they have footage from the European tour after Eddies death that you'd never have expected to have. Very enjoyable documentary.

"...was the first time I alone stood in a WWE ring..."
It will be the only time, Sarah. It will be the only time.
By the way, she did that as a referee. That's how lowly she is.
EDIT: Considering what happened to Logan, it unfortunately ended up being more true than my snark had expected.

Been watching a lot of late 90s WWE recently
Played WM14 in full and then moved onto DX: IYH
Some notes from this:
Sable was over as f*** Kane was amazing and that feud with Taker was one of the best storylines ever Mike Tyson was brilliant Shawn's DX gear was so fresh The Dumpster Match was fun I didn't know Jean Pierre Lafitte was in WWE in 1998? LOD 2000 should've been so much bigger. Shamrock was a savage and should've got a title run Heel Rock was so good.

In my chronological re-watch, I have made it to the summer of 1998. Man, things have really picked up and I'm having so much fun watching.
WWF is actually really good. Some stuff is actually better than I remember. Some is worse, too, haha. It's not all around perfect, but the things that are clicking are REALLY clicking.
WCW is a mess, but still has some fun stuff going on. The main event scene is just...disgusting, though.
ECW is consistently strong.
And while it's not on the Network, I have also caught up with MMA (also watching that in chronological order), which is also starting to be fun, too.
Enjoyable viewing all around!

Man - Warrior's WCW debut could have been so much cooler.

An update on my chronological viewing of every available WWE show that I started when I first ordered the Network back in 2014 (beginning with Wrestlemania from 1985). I’m currently up to the Raw after No Way Out 2002 where the NWO attacked The Rock after Rock and Hogan had their epic face to face encounter.

I forgot how cool Bam Bam’s debut in WCW in late 1998 was. Wish they did more with it.

Been going through TV from 1998 recently. Up to the Ultimate Warrior's WCW run. I've also been doing a Brand Split Wars series for my Patreon were I review Raw vs. Smackdown starting from the Draft in 2002 (these aren't good shows for the most part).

SummerSlam ‘95.
Crazy how 25 years ago tonight, I was in that arena watching my very first PPV in person.
