Just something they did for Rose in 90. His gimmick was that he didn't think he was overweight and was in fine shape

Kennel from Hell! This is greatness. yeah i thought that was funny they're making fun of how bad that match was also whats the deal with the Blow Away commercial Blow Away diet was hilarious! It was to get over the gimmick of Playboy Buddy Rose, who was a skinny 217 pounds. Total tongue in cheek, and total awesome!

Am watching the 1975 MSG show in the Vault, starting with Paul Vachon vs Jay Strongbow.
The ring looks absolutely enormous, it has to be a couple square feet bigger than the ring today.

How much of Beefcake's hard luck story is real and how much is just embellishment?

I love watching these ancient Raws. Ted DiBiase was such a great asshole.

As I was saying yesterday... it also shows that commentary could be a hell of a lot worse...

Did Rob Bartlett know anything about wrestling before he was signed up for Raw? At least 2014 Jerry Lawler vaguely knows whats going on.

Also hooray Macho took his mic away... can we leave him unmiced for the rest of the show? I love that they leave in the ICOPRO and Slim Jim commercials.

I wonder how these wrestlers felt when Vince put them under the bus by saying they refused to be in a battle royal with Giant Gonzales. One thing for jobbers to be scared, but some of these guys would be hot by Vince making them look bad.

Watching No Way Out '98. This was the first PPV I ever attended live. Awesome memories. I had forgotten about the time Goldust dressed like Marilyn Manson when he and Marc Mero were feuding with The Headbangers. Great stuff.

I'm watching ECW TV (Episode 26). I completely forgot that the Sandman originally had a surfer gimmick. Between that and watching him trying to wrestle a normal match is hilarious. XD

Been watching WCW ppvs from the mid 90's. I said in another thread and I'll say it again, you completely forget how protected Benoit,Guerrerro, and Malenko were at the time.

Yeah, in hindsight, it's easy to spot who is being protected. But at the time and once they left for WWF, I felt like they weren't being used properly.
