I'll prepare myself for the hate, but I liked the Deathstroke battle. Having to play cat and mouse with his tank felt tense and finally beating him was exciting. I will grant that my level of joy was likely heightened because when I finally got him I was so low on health, one more shot would have taken me out.
I am going to throw this question out there though, how would you guys and gals have gone about making that boss battle better without just making it a retread of the one we got in Origins? I it had been, I'd wager most of you would have complained that it was just the same as the one we had in Origins. So let's hear the ideas.

Origins did boss battles than any other game in the series. I personally would have been fine if they decided to copy a few of those over.
The only real bosses you fight in Arkham Knight are the big Joker guy and Riddler, that's really it. Everyone else is either beaten in some sort of quick time event, or Batmobile battle, which feels like a cop out when you consider those are done against Deathstroke and AK, who would have been perfect hand to hand combat scenarios.

89 suit and Batmobile came out today and it looks pretty neato, there's a couple of racetracks based on the two Burton movies too. We're getting the Tumbler from the Nolan Trilogy and a Nightwing episode next month.

Every time they did a part where you team up with somebody else I had tons more fun playing as whoever it was. Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn in the DLC was fun to play with. Hopefully they continue the franchise with like a Suicide Squad game or something that's more focused on these characters as playable instead of Batman. I said a few pages ago I could see them doing a Justice League game. There are hints all overs of the other members. I haven't really played this all that much... it didnt grab me like City or even Origins did... I think a large part of it IS the Batmobile... it didn't help that I kept getting stuck in the architecture every time I try to go back to it. The last time I played like a week ago I spent a total of 30 minutes playing and got stuck and had to restart twice.

I was hoping for the Batmobile being playable when Arkham City came out, so I loved all the tank battles in it. I honestly think the story in Arkham Knight is the best in the series. It just overall flowed better from the beginning to the end without anything feeling out of place, which may be the case for some with Arkham City.
I will say though, I didn't like who they picked to be the Arkham Knight. I get not making him Joker, but it didn't have to be who they chose.

Hate to revive a dead thread, but I finally got around to playing Arkham Knight and I love it so far. Haven't finished the game, but it's so damn fun.

Here is a little heart warming spoiler from the recent Nightwing DLC. {Spoiler}It's set post the events of Arkham Knight.. At one point Lucious Fox mentions that Tim Drake (Robin) and Barbara Gordon (Oracle) got married. Awwww

Bought an Xbone a few weeks ago kn preparation for WWE 2K16, and picked up Arkham Knight to play in the meantime.
I love Rocksteady's Batman games. They've always been fun, even just running around the city doing nothing but beating up random thugs is fun.
I appreciate the references to classic Batman stories in the game. The recreations through flashback were nice touches.
My only complaint is... Barbara and Tim are a thing? Barbara Gordon is supposed to be a few years older than Dick Greyson. Dick's a few years older than Tim Drake. I'm not against May/December romances, but Barbara and Tim hooking up just feels wrong.

Starting to get into this game again. I'm enjoying it more than my first attempt, still feel the Batmobile was such a huge departure from what made the series successful that it has to be dubbed a mistake...but enjoying it more.
One thing that can never be said enough is the graphics are just off the charts amazing.

Beat the game a few weeks ago. Overall I enjoyed it. I didn't really like the batmobike, as I expected, but once you get used to it, it became less of a chore. I'd still rank City as the best game in the series.

So this is coming to Arkham Knight next month: That skin is worth playing through the game again.

Okay, there's no reason at all why that Batmobile can't transform..

Kind of a thread resurrection but beats starting a new one. Got the game the other day and only now gotten around to playing it. Only as far as having just run Ivy in, but I still already hate the Batmobile with a passion.

But it was just okay. Not bad... But nowhere near the game or the enjoyment that I got from Arkham Asylum.

Did they really have to go f***ing overboard with the f***ing Riddler trophies?
Got them all in Arkham Asylum: cause there was not that many and it was fun to collect them all. Arkham City: a lot, with some puzzles.. But it was not a requirement to collect them all. Arkham Knight: hundreds! It's f***ing tedious puzzles .. Some can't be done without certain upgrades. Oh and if you want the true ending and to stop The Riddler taunting you every two minutes you have to collect them all.. I just said f*** it, and watched the full ending on YouTube. Just too much tedious grinding.

Yeah, I didn't like Asylum but I played the hell out of City so much that I played and beat it on 360 then got it when I got my Wii U and 100% on that. the Batmobile isn't very good and I ran into A LOT of game breaking glitches... luckily I didn't get the PC version which was a complete broken mess.
