That the Tom Zenk vs Diamond Studd match from COTC XVII was obviously too extreme for the WWE Network to show.

Learned that during WCW's anti-top-rope move rule they DID allow top-rope moves during their NWA tag title tournament because they were NWA and subject to different rules. This seemed particularly dumb because it pointed out that WCW matches themselves were lame compared to NWA (and other promotion's) matches. Jim Herd came out during Bash At The Beach '92 and flat out explained that top rope moves aren't allowed in the big WCW title match later that night. It also didn't make any logical sense. If he thought top rope moves were too dangerous/made some wrestlers not seem as interesting then why allow them on his shows at all? I would say it was because his bosses told him to get back with the NWA and the NWA board told him their matches would use the rules they always used.

Mr. T came to the rescue of Paul Orndorff at the first Saturday Night's Main Event. Hulk Hogan was too busy waiting to be interviewed by Mean Gene to help. Maybe Orndorff did have a point

Elizabeth showed more T&A in the third episode of Saturday Night's Main Event in 1985 than she ever did in her WWE Career.

I watched so many jobber matches on Superstars, Wrestling Challenge, All-American Wrestling, and Primetime Wrestling in the 80's yet my parents wouldn't let me stay up to watch good matches on Saturday Night's Main Event.

That while Wrestlemania 1 just looked like a typical msg show, with no wrestlemania banners or ring aprons, the first saturday nights main event only 6 weeks later they did go all out for with having banners and having it on the ring apron. Also the production seems a but better as well. Guess impressing NBC is more important than pleasing the closed circuit crowd. In fact I think that may be the first ever WWF event to use a show specific ring apron skirt! Also the 1st snme is the only one to use white banners as it would be black by the 2nd episode.
Also the 3rd SNME (Nov 3rd 1985) the turnbuckle pads would finally be sporting the wwf logo.

It's amazing what the Terri Runnels of 1990 as Alexandra York would soon become by the end of the decade: ![http://ecwfrenchtribute.free.fr/HTLM/Photos/Divas/M-R/Marlena/Alexandra_York_-_Terri_Runnels_02.jpg](http://ecwfrenchtribute.free.fr/HTLM/Photos/Divas/M-R/Marlena/Alexandra_York_-_Terri_Runnels_02.jpg) ![http://www.prowrestlingdigest.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/290marlena.jpg](http://www.prowrestlingdigest.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/290marlena.jpg) ![http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lkh6248APF1qc6yqqo1_500.jpg](http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lkh6248APF1qc6yqqo1_500.jpg) I actually prefer Alexandra York over weirdo Marlena or skanky Terri Runnels. Call it a fetish for glasses and or office/secretary types... That being said, that f***ing typewriter she carried around probably barely did arythmetics, so much for doing wrestling strategy.

How badly the Dynamic Dudes got booed. Poor guys. Jim Cornette once told the tale of how the crowd reaction totally demolished the spirits of Johnny and Shane. Apparently, WCW once confiscated a sign that said "Johnny sucks Shane's cock" and took it backstage. The Dudes went and had their match, had their usual reaction... Johnny Ace came back to the locker room and talked about it with someone and the discussion ended when he shrugged his shoulders and went "I guess I oughta go back to sucking Shane's cock..." That's where you go f***, the WCW fans just wrecked Douglas and Ace.

Uncle Zeb wore a similar kind of vest as Zeb Colter. Furthermore, Uncle Zeb also did the satisfied Mustache twirl too... so I do think they are supposed to be the same character.

Vince McMahon was an absolute goof on commentary and Jesse Ventura kept him in his place.
