Okay, the Network's great and such. So far I've just used it for retro PPVs. And then the realization set in. The whole reason I got the Network was because Pay Per Views are too damn expensive for what we get these days. And yet...I have no idea what was great and what was trash, or at least what's worth watching now because hey, it's "free." Now, I don't have an exact timetable on when I stopped getting Pay Per Views, but I'm sure it was around when I first stopped watching wrestling, which when I first started college, back in 2008. So anybody with some recommendations on Pay Per Views from then to now that are worth watching, feel free to list them. .....that aren't Money in the Bank, because come on, give me a little credit.

NoC 2009. Punk's promo on Hardy and his fans was golden. Michelle McCool vs Melina was a very good match and overall the card was pretty solid.
I know you said no MitB, but I just watched the Punk vs Bryan MitB ppv with AJ less as special guest ref - that was very entertaining.
Also, Over the Limit 2010: Punk vs Rey in the hair/mask match. Batista and Cena managed to put on a pretty decent match,

Elimination Chamber 2011 - 2 fantastic Chamber matches, make this a must see. I'd say the Edge vs Mysterio vs Drew vs Show vs Wade vs Kane is my favorite Chamber match.
Backlash 2009 - Best show of 2009. Jericho vs Steamboat, Swagger vs Christian, Hardy vs Hardy, Legacy vs Trips, Batista, and Shane, and of course Cena vs Edge Last Man Standing.
SummerSlam 2009 - Mysterio vs Dolph was an excellent opener, Cena vs Orton was an overbooked mess at the end, but before that a pretty damn good match, Punk vs Jeff TLC was excellent, and Legacy vs DX was match of the night and probably the best WWE tag match that year.

No Way Out 2008 also has two really good Chamber matches and a decent undercard as well.

I'll also suggest Extreme Rules 2012, which has the absolutely amazing Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus 2 out of 3 falls match that we should have gotten at WrestleMania.

I don't think you can go wrong with any Money in the Bank PPV or Extreme Rules.

Wow 2009 - Ted Dibiase Jr in high profile matches, DX 12 years after they were cool - I don't remember watching that year at all.

I started skimming through Mick Foley's first book, and am planning to start watching some of his classics against Sting in 1992.
(Fun observation: I had on SuperBrawl 2 the other day, watching most of the show. They had Ron Simmons vs. Cactus Jack. My wife walked in when Foley walked to the ring and she's all like "Hey whoa!" because he looked so young.)

No Way Out 2009. Don't skip around, watching the whole show as it's an event where everything slowly builds.

Summerslam 2010, just for the main event.
Pretty much any MITB or Elimination Chamber shows/matches.
