Well on friday nights anyways. Apologies if its been answered already. But since I moved I haven't had cable and been keeping up mainly thru youtube. I miss show chats with you guys. Are you able to watch the shows as they happen?

No; due to distribution rights, WWE Network will not be getting live RAW's or SmackDown's. As far as I know, they are on a 30 day moratorium because of it.

This is really dumb, as it would be convenient to work on the computer and have Raw in the background, so I can try and multitask. WWE better change those cable deals if possible.

I believe the delay is actually around 60 days, as the most recent episode of RAW is still January 20th when Batista returned. That should mean that the January 27th episode should go up soon.

With WWE anticipating a doubling or possibly even tripling of thieir TV rights fees, this will not happen in the foreseeable future.

They are meant to be on a 30 day delay with Raw and Smackdown, though like someone else said they don't seem to be keeping up with it.
Once the new TV deal comes in to effect you will likely be able to watch Raw and Smackdown on the network a day or two after they air as WWE are very keen to make provisions for that in their contract and it is part of the reason why the WWE keep claiming their programming is DVR-Proof (to make streaming rights be of no value or interest to the networks they are negotiating with)

It's dumb to having your highest rated show not on an option that would split your audience or drive your viewership away from the the thing where they get actual rating and payment from the station that's paying to air it?

Yeah, if anything it's the opposite of dumb. Y'know....smart.
