This is completely ridiculous...So I started the trial on launch day and was unable to access the network via my xbox so I called and cancelled this Sunday before my account was set to role over on Monday...Called back in on Tuesday after my card was charged and they told me they were having issues with the subscription service...Now I am being told my refund request is denied and that I have willingly settled in an agreement...It is not much a month but still kind of a bit ridiculous how they basically overlooked all the account notes I am assuming they should have been writing

Since you're locked in for six months, he's stole sixty dollars.

Call your credit card company and put a stop payment on it.

Hmmm. Kinda makes me glad I didn't sign up for the free trial.

You should keep bothering WWE about it, maybe even on twitter or something, until they reimburse you and fix this.

And if need be, you can call your bank to reverse the charges, while submitting a complaint to better business bureau (never threaten with it, just do it).

I hope this does not sound horrible but yes I have tried with them and gotten nowhere because I do not believe their call center is local...Seriously they do not understand half of what I am saying...It's all about "this date says your cancellation came after I am sorry about your inconvenience...Enjoy WWE Network for the next 6 months"

When you first signed up, did you click the link to sign up for the Network or the one specifically labeled "Free Preview"? Because I think there were two options, and people who just chose sign up for the network were charged.

When I signed up, I clicked the one that said free trial or whatever and they charged me immediately anyway. I read where it happened to other people as well. I tried contacting them to no avail so I was locked in whether I wanted to be or not.

I would bother them. I had a similar thing. Eventually got a refund but it took about 4 phone calls.

I know, I work for one. Hence why I am giving you the advice I am giving. Be persistent, open up a support ticket with them. Especially since you should have gotten a cancellation email. And dispute the charge with the bank, if needed.

Was it already Monday on the East Coast? no it was 4pm on Sunday central time...I guess the original cancellation was not processed correctly and when I called back after still being charged my official cancellation was well after the roll over point...The last guy told me that there was nothing he can do...It's almost laughable at this point

I can almost see them(this has happend to me with something similar) pulling a "we did not process it till the start of the next business day on Monday, so that means that it was not in the system till then".

Gotta love it.
Signing up for something anymore could not be easier. All you need is credit card information and a dream.
Opting out of said thing could not be any more difficult. It requires hours upon hours of your time. Multiple phone calls with someone whose accent is thicker than motor oil that sounds intimately unfamilar with the ins and outs of the service they represent, the software they are using and pretty much other humans in general. . Dental records. A birth certificate. Whatever. It's pathetic.
And usually all it amounts to is needing someone to do the cyber-equivalent of flipping a switch.
