Scott Brooks is not a good coach.

What was that by Westbrook?

Well that's an appropriate way for this to end. Brooks goes back to the same exact play a possession before, Durant misses, and Westbrook goes insane. OKC, y'all.

Fire Brooks.
Now.
Fire him NOW!
He shouldn't even leave the arena still a part of the team.

Unfortunate for OKC. Great season. It was a great season in retrospect, due to the team still playing at a high level despite losing Westbrook for a good chunk of the season and in spite of Scott Brooks.

I love the Thunder Crowd though. Watching this reminds me how portions of the Heat fans started bailing before it was over last year.

Durant's career to this point has nearly mirrored LeBron's, down to getting destroyed in an NBA Finals and losing at home in Conference Championships multiple times.
Still waiting for him to take some heat.

Well shit, so much for the Thunder having the Spurs number. Spurs just outplayed OKC. A lot of bad mistakes by OKC here. People will blame Brooks, but to be fair this series isn't his fault. He adjusted like he never used to, this one is just on a series of bad plays at bad times. You can't really blame bad coaching for the Durant turnover near the end of regulation, for example.
I'll be rooting for the Spurs in the final, since I've always been a fan of Duncan.

Still waiting for him to take some heat. As in criticism? Because the guy will never hear the end of it if Oden gets a ring this year.

Westbrook is so insanely talented, but he's so dumb sometimes. He takes horrible shots a LOT, when he's good enough to get far easier shots every time. The whole "Westbrook takes too many shots" thing was always overblown - he needs to take those shots for OKC to win most of the time. It's the fact that he takes so many BAD shots that frustrates me. This is a guy thats good enough to shoot around 50% from the field, but hes at around 43% every year, which just isn't good enough.
If he smartened up a bit and cleaned up his bad shots (like LeBron and Wade have done over the last few years), OKC would have a much better chance at success imo.

Indiana over Atlanta Miami over Charlotte Brooklyn over Toronto Chicago over Washington Indiana over Chicago Miami over Brooklyn Miami over Indiana San Antonio over Dallas Oklahoma City over Memphis LA over Golden State Portland over Houston San Antonio over Portland Oklahoma City over LA San Antonio over Oklahoma City Miami over San Antonio If it weren't for the Chicago/Washington series, I'd have a perfect bracket. Still think Heat 3-peat.

And of course the Onion made me a fan of Duncan.
