House of Cards did, but nothing to the degree of Breaking Bad.
Actually Game of Thrones did too.

Once Upon A Time.
That one also recently got my mother, as well, as she burned through season 1 in about 3 days, watching into the wee hours of the morning to do so.

Breaking Bad didn't suck me in. I can see why people would like it, but I couldn't stand when it was on because it was the only thing on TV anyone would talk about that wasn't Walking Dead. And if you don't like that show, either...the past few years were really bad as a TV viewer. That aside:
Prison Break Law & Order (classic; SVU is decent but nothing beats the Briscoe/McCoy/Schiff era to me) Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones Homeland Arrow Nikita I would say Weeds but season 6 and 7 were really bad, imo. Season 8 pulled me back in but damn, 6/7 really hurt the show for me.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. A great comedy that I watch every day.

Weeds (the first several seasons, anyway) and Californication.
