Really?
We're 20-some-odd-days out. A Shield breakup (even though fences have been mended this week) at this point is better sudden booking than bringing in a brand new tag team unknown to most WWE viewers.

I doubt they're going to bring in The Ascention on a card The Undertaker is wrestling on.
It would dilute his gimmick when one of them looks so much like him.

I know The Ascension isn't everyone's cup of tea, but the two of them as Kane's followers just feels right. I don't really see how. From what's been showcased on NXT, their "gimmick" is DEATH METAAAAAAAAAAAAL. They don't do anything dark, they don't promo, they don't act like anything. They just come to the ring with guitars blaring and beat people up mediocre...ly. Doesn't really fit with Kane to me, Corporate or not.

I highly doubt we'll be getting that at WM. But I would love for The Shield to turn face. Warning: Fantasy booking ahead. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Just imagine if say, next week, Triple H tells them to beat the crap out of Daniel Bryan. It's The Shield vs. Bryan 3 on 1. During the match, Triple H comes out and say's for them to "make sure he doesn't make it to WrestleMania," and The Shield at stand above Bryan, like their going to attack them. Than they walk away. Triple H starts yelling at them to "do the job!" They walk through the crowd, and look to be leaving. Triple H than goes down to the ring, and looks to beat up Bryan, only for Bryan to counter into the YES Lock. Batista and Randy Orton come out to help Triple H, and begin to beat up Bryan. Than, The Shield come back into the ring and begin to attack Batista and Orton! Fans goes nuts. They clear the ring of all the heels, than The Shield turn to Bryan. They look at though their going to beat up Bryan as well, than Reings extends his hand to him and picks him up from the corner of the ring. They allow Bryan to do his YES chant as the show goes off the air and "Evolution" are down the ramp looking furious.
The week after they save Cena from the Wyatt Family.

If they are going to give Kane tag team stooges to fight the Shield, the New Age Outlaws would make more sense storyline wise.

Works for me. Keeps Shield together, and as badass faces.

Kane and the Wyatt family
for me the Ascension really seems like they should Undertaker's followers. Imagine him in a six man tag with two mystery partners, he comes out with a flock of Druids. Two step forward and flip their hoods back and it's the Ascension

I don't understand this at all. Debuting NXT guys at Mania seems odd enough, let alone picking the shittiest NXT guys not named Mojo Rawley. On the bright side, at least NXT's looking to be better now.

Put Zayn or Neville or even Bo in that spot, and people would just be pissed that they didn't get a higher profile match or that they're playing second banana to someone.

They aren't exactly high on the card, but odds are that Kane's team would lose, anyway, and Ryback would just kind of make for a good lackey for the Authority.

Anyone else notice how the "ROMAN REIGNS IS THE MOST AWESOME MAN ALIVE ESPECIALLY COMPARED TO THOSE OTHER TWO SHIELD LOSERS" stuff dropped off right after his terrible match with Bray Wyatt? I think the breakup's being delayed until the pet project can put on non-embarassing singles matches even against guys who aren't doing everything in their power to keep him looking good.
Though Ambrose is such a natural heel I still think it may end up as Reigns & Rollins vs. Kane & Ambrose, with Dean betraying the other two because he prefers the security of being an Authority flunkie.

I could see it being all right if they build to it. So, they would need to start, like, now, in order for the build to make sense.

Just have Reigns and Rollins go for the tag belts (no storyline necessary) and have Ambrose face Big E for the unified midcard belt. Neither of these really need build and the first is awesome enough on paper to sell itself.

The Ascension's gimmick fits perfectly with Kane's. Honestly, if it's said they're related to Kane and Taker I'm not going to be shocked. The gimmick works. Kane can say he's found 2 guys that remind him of himself as a kid and put them over. With that said the 3-way WM match is the way to go. It's perfect. They shouldn't shit on the legacy of one of their all-time great characters. Kane's doing that enough himself by wrestling in a wifebeater and black jeans and kissing Triple H's ass. Saying "OH, and here's his newphews, KONNOR and VIKTOR! Let's watch them make funny faces and suck the air out of the room every week!" would really finish the job.

Too bad Cena is facing Bray since I would love for a blow off match for them and the Wyatts, proving that when the Shield are on the same page, they can kick anyone's asses.

On the bright side, at least NXT's looking to be better now. Would it be that different to Fandango having his first match at Mania? Sure Fandango had a few weeks to get some heat on himself but it didn't work that great. Having The Ascension wrestle for Kane due a to a friendship that was created by a dark bond wouldn't be too bad. The only issue is you have a little too much paranormal shit going down with Taker and the Wyatts on the show as well. I'd expect it to be a Bo Dallas scenario where they don't stick around for long.

But this is the WWE we're talking about so I'm not going to be surprised if it happens. If not that they'll have Kane say something like "these two remind me of me and my brother from years ago, they have potential" and let that be it. I wish they wouldn't because Kane/Taker are a great legacy alone and together but since the WWE has screwed up repeatedly, don't doubt it.

Just say that they're Kane's protégés. Kane is building an army a future monsters to serve him and his ends (such as currently helping the Authority).
