{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}It almost looked like Screwball would run away with this one, but Flam was able to make a comeback via the Super-Router-3-point-Shooter. Thanks to that, Flam was able to erase a large deficit and keep it real close in the final seconds. However, thanks to a malfunction with the machine, the potential game winning shot was way off, giving the win to the spawn of Discord.
It was a fierce battle between siblings, as Applejack faced her brother, Big Macintosh. Ultimately it was the older sibling who would prevail. These two competitors know each other very well off the court as well as on the court, as the game was neck and neck the entire way through. In the end, the more experienced sibling prevailed. Post game the two shared a heartwarming embrace in the center of the court, congratulating each other for their extraordinary performance.
One noticeable Apple family member missing in the crowd for the sibling showdown was Braeburn, having his own match against Flim. The con artist was able to get an early lead using the shooting device, but like to his brother before him, the machine once again malfunctioned in the closing minutes, opening the doors wide open for the Appleloosan to make a late rally to send Flam back where he came from.
The final match was an absolute barnburner, as Octavia and Allie Way battled all the way down to the wire. Each pony was able to keep up with the other, trading the lead back and forth all the way through. By the end, it was Allie Way’s defense that forced a tough shot for Octavia in the closing seconds, which unfortunately fell short. Allie Way now moves on to seek her second title.
