Out of joking mode, that pretty much sums up Miz's main event run. Dude held the top title for 5 months during a time where people were playing hot potato with the belt, and he was still a glorified place holder. |

I've always wanted to know the deal with this pic. Why does it look like he unloaded a can of whipped cream on his face? Ahhh, one of my all-time favourite unintentional moments. I can't remember if the Elimination Chamber pods normally have the light shining from below as well as/or instead of from above, but they did in this match. I'm hazy on the details but HHH was feuding with someone else in the match and the build had been for him to get out and just destroy the other guy. HHH's pod lights, he puts on his best evil grin and laugh, but it's completely foiled by the light underneath happening to catch just right to give him a big Santa beard and eyebrows. Lawler even shrieks with amusement at it rather than sell the "Triple H's gonna destroy him now!" angle. EDIT - aha. |
