– Global Force Wrestling announced today that they will have their next set of TV tapings on August 22nd in Las Vegas. At this time, GFW has not announced a TV distribution deal. The following matches are set for the show…
* NEX*GEN Title Tournament Round 1: Andrew Everett vs. TJP * NEX*GEN Title Tournament Round 1: Trevor Lee vs. Virgil Flynn * TAG TEAM Title Tournament Round 1: Cielo Misterioso vs. Tease N Sleaze (Kenny King and Joey Ryan) * TAG TEAM Title Tournament Round 1: Bullet Club (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) vs. Killer Elite Squad (Lance Hoyt and Davey Boy Smith Jr.) * WOMENS Title Tournament Round 1: Candice LeRae vs. “Bullet Babe” Amber Gallows v Katarina Waters * GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP Round 1: Shelton Benjamin vs. JR Kratos * GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP Round 1: Bobby Roode vs. Eric Young * GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP Semi-Final: Chris Mordetzky (formerly Chris Masters) vs. Nick Aldis (formerly Magnus) * PJ Black (formerly Justin Gabriel) and The Akbars vs. Sonjay Dutt and Los Luchas
-----------------
Looks like an awesome lineup, better than the first set of tapings.

That genuinely looks to be a solid show

Lineup looks good, but they have gotta find a station or channel to air it or else these episodes are going to be sitting around collecting dust. It can't be October and they still haven't aired the first episode.

That should be a interesting matchup, Nikki Storm was one of the girls who was in Gutcheck and won her block's poll

There's a show about an hour from me later this month, but I think I'll pass on this stellar card. Dirty Money v Pat Buck Kevin Matthews v Pepper Parks Kimber Lee v Cherry Bomb Brian Myers (formerly Curt Hawkins) v Chris Mordetzky (formerly Chris Masters) BLK Jeez v Sonjay Dutt The Bullet Club v Seiya Sanada and Ali Akbar
Only 6 matches is a waste, the Bullet Club are the only ones I would want to remotely see anyway.

I just realized that Virgil Flynn is the Hoodslam guy. He's also a regular at the Indy I go to, Phoenix Pro Wrestling (it's not in Phoenix; it's named for the venue), as is JR Kratos. Big congrats to the both if them.

They could get a show on the FUSE network. Or Fox Sports 2.

Ok, the first half of this taping was actually pretty good, but the second half is going to be depressing. Half the audience has left, and this Aldis vs Masters match has lost all the interest in this crowd.

Oh boy {Spoiler}{Spoiler} You'd think that after the Ortiz/Rampage debacle that they wouldn't do MMA storylines

Oh boy {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} You'd think that after the Ortiz/Rampage debacle that they wouldn't do MMA storylines {Spoiler}I can't say I blame them for trying to use Chael Sonnen in a wrestling role. The dude was easily the best heel on the show, so anyone could have gotten a reaction standing up to him.

A note from this weeks Wrestling Observer, whereas the first tv taping drew around 3000 with mostly free tickets, the second drew around 1000 (again with mostly free tickets)

I'm guessing GFW isn't particularly long for the world, at least not in any incarnation where anyone knows or cares about them.
