This aired right after WrestleMania XXX on Sunday night, yet it's not up for VOD. It's a moot point, given that it airs again tonight at 10pm EST, but I would have thought they'd archive it after Sunday's showing. Pretty strange, but I guess it's the Network's call after all.

I might have imagined this but when WWE ran ads for WrestleMania Week programming, I thought I heard a message to "catch a sneak preview of the newest episode of Countdown." WWE is probably choosing to archive the show after its "official" first airing at 10 PM. I tried to watch on my phone and got the message to "watch the first airing on WWE Network."

It was fantastic, though I don't remember who came it at #1. I may have fallen asleep.

I still think The Mountie is a GREAT gimmick.

They refuse to break kayfabe with this. First of all, they still claim Giant Gonzalez is 8 feet tall, they don't tell us that Hector Gurrerro was the Goober, and Matt Borne was the original Doink. And they act like Shane Douglas is the Jannety of the Dynamic Dudes, all the focus was on Johnny Ace.
Well at least they acknowledge the difference between the original evil Doink and the face Doink and not lump them all together.
How the heck is the Boogey Man ranked higher than Papa Shango, Papa Shango was way better.

I like the fact that they called it Infamous gimmicks instead of worst gimmicks. That kept them from burying anybody which I found very professional. They could have destroyed Disco Inferno but they said some really good things about him and even had some interview footage of him talking.

They kept showing Disco Inferno in a negative context, which I shall cry foul to. That gimmick COULD have sucked, but he pulled it off amazingly. The way he'd go to fix his hair after hitting a huge move but then realize that he should probably go for the cover, I loved all of that.

The dude was never going to be much more than a lower-midcard act with occasional runs with midcard titles, but as a few people on there mentioned, he put so much into the gimmick and played it so well that people still remember it very fondly to this day and it never got stale or overexposed at all despite running for about five or six years.

Watching this now... I was going to say they were going to ignore Sub Zero during the glacier thing... and right as I was about to... Brodus Clay brings it up though I don't like them implying Mortis was bad.

After they brought up the Glacier/Sub-Zero comparison, I'm surprised that no one brought up a comparison between Heel Doink and The Joker.
Then again Doink never was THAT twisted. He could have been, and I maintain that Doink could have been The Joker to Undertaker's Batman.

Mortis and Glacier were both awesome. I didn't really like Glacier... but I will disagree that his entrance was crap... I liked the snow effect.

It couldn't have been that hard. Mortal Kombat and DC are both owned by Warner Bros...

Daniel Bryan talking about Giant Gonzalez's fuzz covered junk is the greatest moment in the history of our sport.

I can't stand the production on these shows.
"Next up on the countdown is a pun pun pun pun pun pun. But before that, let's take a look at the thing you literally just watched, chosen by you, the WWE Universe."
