It doesn't have to be something like that. My dad went from "The cancer is gone, no sign of it" to "You have 72 hours to live" in the course of a day and a half. Yeah, my grandmother was in pretty much perfect health one day... the next day she was in the hospital and a week later she was dead. Sometimes the body just goes. Yeah, my dad talked about my grandfather and said that the day before he was getting better from his sickness and even went out to have ice cream from his favorite shop.....and the next day he died. This happened last Sunday. It is true that people seem to just go without any warning whatsoever.

I'm not going to lie. I'm in a bar, saw this and have tears. RIP Jim Hellwig. You'll always be a legend to me.

This is...probably going to sound insensitive. I apologize in advance. I'm a newer wrestling fan then a lot of people. I got into it in the year 2000, and most of what I know of the golden era was through tape trading and youtube. One of the greatest joys of my wrestling fandom has been discovering how amazing Randy Savage was after his death. Now, I'm pretty familiar with Warrior so I'm not sure that will happen with me but SOMEONE out there is probably going to rediscover how awesome this dude was with this news breaking everywhere. I mean, it's tragic. Yes. But the magic of wrestling doesn't go away and good on Warrior for getting to make so many people love him. Even now, there's going to be even more. There's a saying that I heard recently... "In life, it's possible to die twice. Once when your heart stops beating, and again when people forget your memory." The Ultimate Warrior will only ever die once, just like Randy Savage, like Eddie Guerrero, like Owen Hart, etc. Because as long as there are fans like us who remember him having watched him in our youth, and the fans of tomorrow who'll hear about him and go back through wrestling history to learn about him for themselves... the facepaint, the energy, the rope-shaking, the spaceship and the rocket fuel... It will always be there. He lives forever.

Posting this here because it really makes you think that maybe he had a feeling, and he in many ways eulogized the warrior character on Monday Christ, watching this is so bittersweet. Like it's depressing as hell, but at the same time it's like "I don't think many people are going to get a goodbye from this earth as perfect as that."

And suddenly, being so upset about Taker losing his Streak seems really silly.

Apparently you can no longer view the HoF on the Network, only the preshow. Not sure the meaning/significance behind that, if there is any.

@realkevinnash: So happy I embraced Warrior with a hug when we saw each other backstage Saturday night. My heart goes out to his family.Always Believe.
It sounds like peace was made with Warrior and a lot of people on Saturday. At least we can be happy about that.

Right before hearing about this, I came so close to listening to I Will Always Love You. I think there is something that all of us can agree on and that there's some part of Warrior that we will all love and admire.
