Toshiaki Kawada and Samson(Ricky) Fuyuki were once managed by Gary Hart in Texas All-Star Wrestling. They feuded with Paul Diamond & Shawn Michaels. Paul Diamond (as Max Moon) wrestled Shawn Michaels on the first episode of Raw in January 93. One year earlier Diamond and Michaels wrestled at the Royal Rumble as members of the Rockers and Orient Express, respectively (Diamond was Kato). Previous to that the 2 teams had feuded in the AWA under the names the Midnight Rockers and Bad Company.

The Main Event for the 1993 Survivor Series was the All Americans vs the Foreign Fanatics.
6 of the 8 participants were actually born in the USA.

Not that it would have changed the ratio significantly, but there would have been 3 non Americans in the match if Crush hadn't replaced Pierre as was originally advertised. How insane is it that 31 years later Pierre is the only one of the 10 guys either originally promoted, or that were in that match that is still wrestling full time for a national promotion? Perhaps he really isn't human. 🧟♂️

McMahon loved making NWA and AWA champions look silly (except for Ric Flair and Curt Hennig). Some things never changed. After those companies closed he loved making former ECW, WCW and TNA champions look silly too. With very rare exceptions like RVD, Booker, the Dudley's and AJ.

Cody vs Roman at WM 39 was the first time both guys involved in the main event of WM were not only second generation wrestlers, but sons of WWE Hall of Famers. Not sure if WWE mentioned this in the build to the match because I didn't watch any of the TV leading up to it.
WM 4 was main evented by Dibiase vs Savage. Both second generation guys, but it was not the advertised main event. The closest thing to an advertised main event on that show was Andre vs Hogan.

After Rude attacked Warrior, Bockwinkel was one of the officials who entered the ring.

McMahon loved making NWA and AWA champions look silly (except for Ric Flair and Curt Hennig). I mean, to be fair...Race was 46 and Bockwinkel was 55 at that time. Race never really clicked in WWF, although I thought making him King Harley Race was pretty stupid to begin with. And it's not like Bockwinkel was an active wrestler at that time...just a guy in a suit for the most part.
