If I've learned nothing else from this show it's that The Fink, Hillbilly Jim, and Jimmy Hart seem like the best dudes. Also, I would like to hang out with Piper.

I hope that 8 episodes into this series they're sitting around and suddenly Patterson yells "The Cabbage Rolls are done!"

Man, I really want to see Tony Atlas fight a horse now.
Also, I like how he compared himself to a laptop almost immediately after telling Jimmy Hart he has one I.Q. point higher than a banana.

I can't help but have a smile on my face the whole time while I watch this show. Exactly how I feel. The show isn't good at all, but I'm happy when I watch it. It's like visiting your grandparents. Mean Gene is my favorite guy in the house and I love Pat Patterson.

I love this show. It's mostly because the WWE doesn't quite understand how reality TV works, so the editing is kind of slapdash, but it almost has a surreal feel to it. Some shots linger a little too long, on the wrong things, and the conflicts are so weirdly forced, like Jim Duggan suddenly deciding to talk shit to Tony Atlas over the most inconsequential thing, yet even when the conflicts are forced there's still no tension at all and nothing really happens. Old dudes standing around in a kitchen, while music plays to make it seem more intense than it really is. There is also that Ashley, where neither the viewers nor the Legends themselves have any f***ing clue as to who she is. She just shows up to drop some exposition and then disappears. It is fascinating. I hope we get a season two. That alone would make renew my Network subscription. Ideally the lineup for season two would be Rikishi, Ric Flair, Foley (who shares a room with Flair; imagine the showdowns), a clone of Rikishi, and then bring back Tony Atlas because I love that dude. Also, make it be like The Fink never left. It's already easy enough to forget that he's even there.

I agree with you that WWE's own production house hasn't quite mastered reality TV, but a lot of the people working on this have experience in the genre. This is less WWE's fault than it is the fact that a group of 50-60 year old men, despite their professional personalities, just aren't that interesting outside of their element. It's pretty obvious that the source material probably isn't giving the production staff much to work with when constructing an hour long series. It also doesn't help when the cast is uncomfortable and doesn't want to even be there. Two episodes in and the majority of time has been listening to them whine about being hungry. It's hardly Real World with a group of 20 somethings drinking and screwing the whole time where its probably easy to put together an hour long episode. If Legends House was 30 minutes and was more cohesive, they may have a show out of this, but its not working as it looks so far. I think they need a competitive element and something that gives these guys a reason to stay. If this wasn't in the can already and it was possible to ask them while they were on the show at the time it is on the show now if they wanted to leave, they'd all say yes. A bunch of old guys hanging out is not interesting and the nostalgia of seeing these men as they are now wears off quickly.

The show makes me smile, too.
There are hilarious moments, but they are too far away from each other. And Tony Atlas' grilling! AWESOME. I want more of this show... just wish it had a quicker pace. And something actually going on.

I finally watched the first episode last night. I'm hooked. The personalities on this show are great. You can tell right off the bat Piper, Duggan, and Atlas are fairly stubborn and are sure to cause drama. Atlas' laugh is so comical. I found it so funny that little Jimmy Hart was so concerned with how he would get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I love this show already. I'll probably watch the second episode sometime this weekend.

I want to like this show, but 80% of what has happened so far in the first two episodes is watching the guys stand around waiting for food to cook. Given the size of the Fink, that probably is 80% of his life.

Tony Atlas is the highlight of the show, loved his Youshoot from a couple of years ago too, who knew he'd be the most out there and funny when you have all these other personalities.

i.imgur.com/qEsBZcs.gifI love legends house! During the Golf Cart Polo look at Mean Gene's Arm in the interview at the end and his right arm look huge and his left arm look small. WTF? Anyway Jimmy Hart is a DIK for not letttin Gene use microwave. Hart seems like a control freak. I feel sorry for Piper a lil bit but love him and the fink needs help. Atlas is lucky to be on show and is takin advantage of it. Was he PAPA SHANGO for a bit?

what if they took the cast of Legends House but had them read the scripts from Total Divas instead? Would anyone really notice the difference?
