Should they be merged into one belt? If so, how would you pull that off? What would the new design look like?

If so, how would you pull that off? probably like 12 years ago, just go "Hey, here's the new championship belt" well, in keeping with the theme of new championship belts in recent years, it will probably be butt ugly

I kinda like the two belts. With the first Undisputed championship, making a new belt made sense because one of them represented a different company. This time, the two belts used to represent the same company, so to me they make it feel like the champion conquered an entire era of the WWE.
Plus, I doubt the WWE wants to get rid of a belt design that's been around for little over a year.

WWE Title belt with miniature Big Gold sideplates. I wouldn't mind that but I'd also add that the black behind the W becomes gold.

I feel that most likely they'll just drop the World Heavyweight Title and use the WWE Title by itself. That belt is still too new to change already.

I'm worried that as long as the two belts are around, then we'll end up with some shenanigans that results in the titles being split again with one of Triple H's boys as WWE Champion and Bryan left midcarding with the World Heavyweight Championship and banished to SmackDown.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. They already put Bryan over TWICE at Mania and in quite spectacular fashion, I think it's time for us all to stop being paranoid. Anyway, I know the belts must merge at some point, I just want the two belts to stay as long as possible.

As long as they keep both Ithink they'll get split again at TLC or sooner during a ladder match. Each guy pulls down one.

Just as Jericho carried both the WWF and WCW championships until he lost the title to HHH, so too will Daniel Bryan carry both the WWE and World Heavyweight championships until he loses the title to...HHH.
Despite photoshop immortality, HHH *hates* carrying around more than one strap at a time.

I think they're waiting until they do the switch over to the Network logo and then they'll introduce a WWE title that looks like this: ![](http://i.imgur.com/HeAkudV.jpg)

Bryan needs to defeat Akebono for the AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship and ditch their new title in favor of the classic three belts so he can have 5 belts with him.

I like the idea of keeping both around, it gives me hope that eventually they'll split them up again

Yeah, Ultimo Dragon makes that five belt idea for Bryan look like amateur hour. ![](http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u316/KillerFuu/Misc%20Rosters/Ultimo%20Dragon/Ultimo_Drago_-_Yoshihiro_Asai_08.jpg)
