For the next four nights at 10pm EST, there will be programmes dedicated to Ultimate Warrior following his passing last week. Some of them include footage of Warrior recorded fairly recently.
TUESDAY: Warrior's Greatest Matches - Ultimate Warrior talks about his favourite matches throughout his career WEDNESDAY: WrestleMania Rewind - Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI THURSDAY: Warrior: Ultimate Legend - A biography about Ultimate Warrior's career FRIDAY: Legends of WrestleMania: Warrior - An all-star panel discusses Ultimate Warrior and his impact on the business

Other programs of note this week that are related.
WEDNESDAY: 4:00 P.M. EST - SUMMERSLAM 1991 THURDSDAY: 12:00 A.M. EST - BEST OF RAW (4/7/96 Warrior Returns)
And the documentary about him has that it's part of a four part series but that may just be the rest of the stuff special titled. Also, the Warrior's Greatest Matches is actually a Legends of Wrestling style program with him and Mean Gene talking. Filmed right before his death.

Great to see Sting on this Warrior tribute, first thing he's ever done for anything WWE produced. That's a bit of history right there.

Great to see Sting. I marked when I saw him.
Wow, the Warrior/Rude match from SNME really showcases how much Rude did in those Warrior matches. He's constantly, running, bumping, bouncing, and making Warrior look good. Rude really did good work with Warrior. My favorite from them was their first SummerSlam match (1989).

the referee checking to see if Warrior's leg would drop 3 times is still one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen

I was never a big Ultimate Warrior fan. His match with Hogan at WrestleMania VI was my favorite Warrior match. Two mega babyface stars clashing with both belts on the line. It doesn't get much bigger than that. I liked his match with Savage at Summerslam '92 also.

I was surprised to find myself enjoying his match with Andre to be honest. Not a classic by todays standards no, but fun to watch. At least to me anyways.

I'm really surprised to see matches I don't ever remember seeing before aside from Honky Tonk Man tonight. I may have seen them but forget cause staying up for SNME was a struggle for me as a kid. Well done.

I was a tad shocked to see Warrior choking the shit out of Andre and everyone being so nonchalant about it, especially compared to now when it can get a performer fired.

Just saw Scott Hall on the Warrior matches special, why are they so insistent on calling him Razor Ramon now? It seems weird and forced, hell he even had a shirt on that said @scotthallnwo

HA I just noticed something. I'm watching Warriors greatest matches and in his prematch promo against Andre he is wearing pink trunks but i'm watching the match itself and he's wearing orange trunks.
Quickest attire change ever?

Has any of Warrior's 30 second squashes of Andre ever made it to TV? I was kind of hoping the WCCW airing would temporarily jump to 1986-87, something with a Dingo Warrior match.

Quickest attire change ever? That might top Hogan having the '86 WWF title before the Andre rematch, then coming out with the Winged Eagle.

Wow, that Warrior promo from the 4/7/96 RAW might have been his best promo ever. Due to the simple fact that he actually sounded coherent, and he also had a legit clever one-liner about "Full-lenght movies...", and "...Kicking your ass from beginning to end".

Damn... that bio on Warrior is amazing stuff. It just makes me so glad, so happy, that he left this world happy, all wrongs righted, all debts paid. How many of us wish we could leave this rock like that?
All I can say is we were more lucky than we know to live in a time in wrestling to have witnessed the era of the Warrior. And you know, like Savage, Owen and Eddie, he will never be gone. We will remember, we will tell the stories, share the matches and, like he said, the spirit of the Warrior will run forever.
