Only counting ones that had more than 2.
Off the top of my head, Vacation, Hangover, Mission Imposible, Scary Movie, Oceans 11, Iron Man......
Anyone else?

The main reason Transformers 3 is better than 2 is because while it is still a crappy, awful movie, at least the plot is comprehensible.

like TF2 more than TF3 ..... firstly i've seen it more times, secondly the third one should have been made in two parts

Toy Story.
While the 2nd one isn't bad at all, because 1 and 3 are as good as they are it definitely makes 2 the odd man out.

One can only hope Cars 2 will be this, given they are making a third one. Man, what a dropoff.

While I love all three, I have to say that Back to the Future Part II is the weakest of the trilogy.

It's arguable with Part 6 and the remake, but Nightmare on Elm Street.

I don't hate the movie but to me 1 and 2 are such great movies II gets way too much derision but the last 45 minutes just grind it to a complete halt. It actually has some of the most compelling ideas of the series but once they go back to the dance in 1955, the movie just drags tremendously.

Scary Movie? 2 sucked and all, but the next 9 or 10 or whatever they're on are all worse. I'd agree with Vacation, the Oceans trilogy, Back to the Future and the Indiana Jones trilogy. There isn't a fourth Indiana Jones, stop hallucinating.

First two that popped in my head were already mentioned. Nightmare on Elm Street and The Matrix.

Highlander. Like, most of the sequels range from middling-bad, but Highlander 2 is a trainwreck of the highest proportions. It's arguable with Part 6 and the remake, but Nightmare on Elm Street. Personally I think Freddy's Revenge reaches the 'so bad it's good' stage, and it's a must in any cheesy-campy-horror marathon (along with stuff like Lair Of The White Worm) but 6/New Nightmare don't even reach that level for me.

Of the Star Wars prequels Attack of the Clones is for me the low point. What bothered me was the love story was such a major part of the story and it had two actors that had zero chemistry. Really took me out of the story. Also the LotR the Two Towers is a great movie but the other 2 are much better. The 1st and 3rd have more memorial moments. 2nd, not so much.
