Eric Young being more over than Danihahahaha, ah I can't even finish that sentence. I feel like I say this every day to myself but some of ya'll are on some other shit on the TNA board. It's actually kinda amazing. What's amazing is the lack of reading comprehension. Where did I say he was more over? I said EY has his own TV show and TNA could be trying to appeal to fans of that show. Seriously man, quit trying to antagonize the TNA board. The flamebaiting is getting old. There are mods who are very good at decided if something is flamebait or not. If they haven't warned anyone or deleted posts or lock the thread; it's all good. Contrary to this board belief, this isn't a members only section. Everyone is free to get involved. Otherwise this place becomes a ghost town and eventually get absorbed back into (W)rest of Wrestling due to the lack of traffic. Good luck talking about Samuel Shaw among threads like Canadian Ninja appreciation, Favorite member of 3 Count poll, and the daily wrestler birthday thread.

More wrestlers could take a page out of AJ's book, absolute class act.
Then again though he is one of the few who is probably making a decent living off the indies so doesn't have to resort to saying crazy things in interviews to try and bump up his fee.

Could you imagine if Punk and AJ faced off in ROH once Punk's WWE contes tv is up? I can't imagine any way that happens actually. I don't see why not. Punk's contract ends soon and he might be willing to take the occasional, probably well paid, featured match. It is not as though he did not put over ROH at any point in time over the last decade or so.

You can't stroll into ROH and wrestle light and safe no matter your rep. People are going to want the CM Punk of old. Not the CM Punk who wants to be able to walk when he's 60. Besides a match between Punk and Styles won't happen due to both parties hate the other.

Oh look who's not bitter about Eric Young winning the title. Which AJ brings up a certain point, Eric Young is a crossover star, perhaps him winning the title may have some of his fishing show's fans tune in. Does Daniel Bryan have his own TV show? no he doesn't. Honestly, I think if these past few years in wrestling prove anything, it's that the crossover effect is really overrated. Most people who are fans of ome medium but aren't fans of wrestling aren't going to start watching wrestling just because a guy who hosts another show is doing it.

Guys, cripes' sake, can we lay off on WWE/TNA comparisons in a thread that nominally has nothing to do with them? Relax.
I'm glad AJ gets to work his own schedule now, be his own boss, as it were. The guy's in a great position in his career if he wants to make a really solid living between the indies, Japan, and other international dates and not have to worry about signing long term contracts or dealing with corporate bosses.
I admit, though, there was a big part of me that hoped that when Magnus won at Lockdown, the lights would go out and the "NO ONE" theme would start playing. Could've been a really great moment, but, welp, business is business.

Dixie Carter still thinks AJ Styles is coming back to TNA at Lockdown. Ah, but a year was never specified...

Plus Punk is quite negative on his time in TNA.

Plus Punk is quite negative on his time in TNA. To add, AJ and Punk have extremely different outlooks on life. AJ akways seems to have been more driven by helping his family while Punk always had a chip on his shoulder. Also keep in mind that when both were on the indies, AJ was the guy companies would bend over backwards to get. I keep my belief that despite the circumstances behind the split, both he and TNA needed a break from each other. Being on the indies seems to have already breathed new life into AJ in the ring, and while they have been inconsistent at it, TNA has done a bit better at building other people up. Nothing great mind you, but in some ways they have done a bit better.
