Fassbender needs to decide what accent his version of Magneto has.
In DOFP he started British, then went to Irish, then occasionally American, then back to Irish.

The scene in First Class on the beach right before he tries to send the missiles back to the ships that fired them was unintentionally hilarious when his accent suddenly became Irish.

I have seen naval guns, air dropped 500lb bombs, mortars, 40mm grenades from mk19 fire etc. and you ever ever even consider what a shelling exchange looks like in slow mo. I enjoyed that quite a bit

It was a great sequence. I just had a problem with the ending of it all. I don't know why Xavier reacted so insanely when Magneto killed Shaw. I mean, Shaw was willing to trigger a nuclear war to suit his own agenda. The world was probably better off without him, even though I liked him and agreed with Magneto's views on Shaw's philosophy. I also don't get why Xavier blamed Magneto for his paralysis when it was clearly the fault of that daft woman with the gun.

Yeah, that brogue came out extra hard. It's kinda funny when you think about it; for a series with a number of fake accents, the two that dropped the ball the hardest, him and Halle Berry, are the Academy Award winners.

I don't read the comics. I don't know who this En Sabah Nur dude is, but judging by the post-credits scene of DoFP and that poster, I gather he can kick some serious ass.

He's legitimately far better portrayed in animation than he ever is in comics. In the former, he's portrayed as an absolute force of nature who may as well be capable of anything he can think up. In the comics he's quite powerful, but has a jobber aura about him.
