We've suggested bad ppvs, but what about PPVs that are underrated but deserve a look on the network? Im currently watching the Wrestling Classic. Not every match is good, but the show has tons of enjoyable matches (davey boy/steamboat, dynamite kid/adonis, savage/steamboat, savage/kid, hogan/piper).

Slamboree 1997. IMO it's one of the better top to bottom WCW ppvs from the NWO era. A lot have the problem of either sucking the whole way through or having great undercards and bad main events, Slamboree 97 was solid all the way through.

King of the Ring 96 is an awesome show that feels like the beginning of the Attitude Era. It's known for Austin 3:16 said I just whooped your ass, but there's a lot more to it.

No Mercy 2006 is a really solid show from when I wasn't watching. Not the most star-studded lineup on paper but a really solid card nonetheless. Beware, though, of the painful, cringeworthy Miz birthday party skit right in the middle.

No Mercy 2001. I remember hating this PPV when it happened, and it gets some crap from the web. However, you have:
Rock vs Jericho in probably their best match (I'd say their rematch on Raw a few weeks after was close) Edge vs Christian in a Ladder match RVD vs Austin vs Angle is a little sloppy, but fun (RVD is over huge) The opener between the Hardyz and Lance Storm/Hurricane is fast and great There's a surprisingly enjoyable match between Kane and Test Plus...Torrie..Stacy...Lingerie. Everything 13 year-old me loved.

Invasion, Summerslam, No Mercy, and Survivor Series were all strong shows I felt. I left out Unforgiven because I've only seen it once and I only every got those 4 on VHS or DVD.

Bad Blood 2003. Yeah, people lampoon it for its main event and it even has half of a Botchamania episode dedicated to it, but I still enjoy it every time I watch it, and its not just because I was there live.

Everything 13 year-old me loved. I still have a recording of the "Raw: Best Of 2001" year-end episode, where they played the Top Ten matches as voted on WWF.com. Lawler was the host and boasted about how he stayed up all week voting for that particular match. Yeah, it's on there. Think it was like 8th. (And Paul Heyman on commentary. When the girls did the roll around the ring and over the referee spot, Paul screamed "I WANNA BE JACK DOAN WHEN I GROW UP!") (BTW, just so you know, #1 was Triple H vs. Steve Austin's 3 Stages Of Hell match at No Way Out.)

Five reasons to check out Starrcade 95, aside from the "WCW/New Japan best of seven" format:
1. No Hogan, and very little of the Dungeon of Doom. 2. A surprisingly good triple threat match with a logical, well-told story. 3. Every match feels important, even ones featuring "unknowns" like Alex Wright and Eddy Guerrero. 4. Lex Luger. I'm serious. Lex single-handedly made what could have been an awkward tweener gimmick fun and interesting. 5. It doesn't feel like a traditional PPV. If anything, it comes off as a wrestling-themed Christmas party that just happened to be filmed. Everyone, from the performers to the announcers to the fans, seem to be having a blast. That kind of vibe is infectious.

I liked Judgement Day 2001 a lot as a kid, haven't viewed it since then but I'd give it a watch.

SummerSlam '93 is a fairly strong show with some good matches and a really good big man match in the main event that's only spoiled by a lacking finish. In Your House 3, I think it is, the the one with the tag main event anyhow, is another solid show. Did enjoy the Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Bulldog match.

Another one I don't see get enough credit is No Mercy 2002. I think it gets lost in the shuffle of Summerslam and Survivor Series that year.
-Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker Hell in a Cell - Benoit/Angle vs Edge/Mysterio
Both are match of the year candidates. Other fun matches include RVD vs Ric Flair, Tajiri vs Jamie Noble and Jericho/Christian vs BookerDust. You also get one of the more random opening backstage segments.

Living Dangerously 2000
Dusty/Corino in a bullrope match
Kid Kash and Mike Awesome had a good match
Balls beat the shit out of some Japanese dude who made me think of Kintaro from Mortal Kombat II
Nova and Cheti vs Jedo and Gado or something. Two other Japanese dudes.
A good Super Crazy/Rhino match.
It was a pretty awesome ECW card. The only thing missing was RVD who was out with his broken leg at the time.
And this was when James Mitchell was doing the intros to the shows and PPVs. Which is always nice.

Summerslam 2001 for the first Angle/Austin Alliance title match and the Rock's return. That and maybe In your house: DX 1997

Is this match included on the network version? I know they edited out a ton of New Jacks matches but then I thought I heard they were back.. Not sure..

Taboo Tuesday 2005
It is headlined by two very good matches in HBK vs Angle vs Cena as well as HHH vs Flair in a cage. I love the Flair and HHH match. It had incredible ring psychology to it.
The rest of the card was pretty solid and the PPV has VADER!

The 1993 Royal Rumble is worth watching just for Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty, and Bret Hart vs. Razor Ramon.

So many people crap on it, but to me, it's a show that brings about everything new with the Attitude Era. Another show similar to this is Unforgiven 1998.
