With TNA's Santino now the World Heavyweight Champion, is TNA better?

I think Lil' Davey dyeing his hair needs to be repeated.
THE ****ER DYED HIS HAIR.
No, we are not going to no-sell this. I almost tapped out on last week's episode of Impact. What kind of malevolent god curses a man to make a decision so vile?

I'm gonna say no. Sure Hogan, Bishcoff and The Ace's are gone but some the show has gotten worse. AJ's gone, Daniels' gone, Kazarian's gone, Lashley's back, Bully's a face, Eric is only champion because of Bryan's success and I could keep going on.
I'm pretty much done with TNA, I haven't seen it since Angelina returned and, if I'm honest, I don't miss it at all.

There can be an argument made though that this is the worst TNA has been creatively, which is quite the strong statement to make. I would definitely agree. I got some heat for saying it before because it's still a strong IWC opinion, but I think cutting back the PPVs has played a large part in it. Now yes, ideally a well booked show would make the PPVs they do have seem more important, but I really think as soon as TNA lost their big monthly show to build towards, they lost all sense of any real direction and that's how we ended up with stories like Chris Sabin as World Champion. Good analysis. That's why now their matchs look like a bunch of thrown away bouts on tv. It's like none of their matchs matter since they lost their PPV. Weird thing is, when they had their weekly PPV shows, things seemed to happened more and the matchs were much better.

I've watched less and less over the last few weeks (after getting back into it at the start of the year) - I just can't be arsed. Case in point: I like EY, but I wanted an ACTUAL build to his title win. I needed the TNA booking team to make me invest time in his title chase, and at the end of it all REALLY make me want him to take it all. I feel vaguely insulted that we're expected to buy a clearly hot-shotted win as a 'cinderella story'......

Is there anyone there that realizes what they're doing? What made TNA good in it's earlier years up until....Hogan..... was that it was relatively simple, yet unique. TNA does so many little things wrong (show formatting, presentation, etc.), then screws up big things (Magnus losing title, "pay-off" to Abyss/Joseph Park, etc.). Come on. How can TNA fix itself? I'd want to see them completely change things up. Maybe change up the show's look a bit, I don't know.

I can watch Impact and be entertained by it, but aside from the actual wrestling talent it's mostly to poke fun at it these days. I don't even take much stock in the quality of wrestling storylines to begin with, but TNA right now isn't even trying to cohesively book things.
