I say flip a coin and whichever show doesn't win that we watch the week after.

So, what's the decision? I threw my support to Havoc '99.

Week One - ResultsOk, we have a winner and it is Halloween Havoc 1999, Vince Russo's first WCW show and by all accounts it is so terrible that we should get some interesting posts about it. Rules are that we have the weekend to watch it, if you want to discuss it before 0:00 AM Monday Morning (British Summer Time which is GMT+1) then you can but please use discretion and use a spoiler tag for anything that could be considered a major spoiler (ie Match Results would require a spoiler tag as would mentioning a run in that happened during a match, things like saying you like a wrestlers haircut or that a move looked sloppy or whatever is fine without the tag) We will start to make a decision on next weekends show on Wednesday. For those of you wanting to watch the Great American Bash 1990 as it is the runner up it will be one of the poll option in a special "second Chance" poll in the near future. WCW Halloween Havoc 1999 1) Disco Inferno vs. Lash LeRoux 2) Harleam Heat vs. Filthy Animals vs. The First Family. 3) Saturn vs. The Late Eddy Guerrero 4) Brad Armstrong vs Berlyn 5) Rick Stenier vs. Chris Beniot 6) Lex Luger vs. Bret Hitman Hart 7) Sting vs Hogan 8) Goldberg vs Sid Vicious 9) Diamond Dallas Page vs Ric Flair 10) Sting vs. Goldberg

Just turned it on...first time I have ever watched this. Will probably take me a couple viewings because of my busy schedule this weekend.
I always forget how terrible that WCW spaceship logo was. Jesus. This is gonna be a tough show.

Week One - Results1) Disco Inferno vs. Lash LeRoux 2) Harleam Heat vs. Filthy Animals vs. The First Family. 3) Saturn vs. The Late Eddy Guerrero I just love how this is written, like it is his gimmick name... EDIT: So I'm starting the Show now. My Wife, though she loves Wrestling, will not be watching with me. Said she loves me, but she ain't stupid.

Vince Russo's first WCW show and by all accounts it is so terrible that we should get some interesting posts about it. This is pretty much my entire reason for voting for it. I want to watch a car-crash with you guys.

I have never seen this nor have any idea who wins. The last 5 matches look awesome on paper. To be continued.....

I will probably watch this bad boy tonight after I attend my girlfriend's ballet and crank out a paper. No guarantees though. I am very interested.

Is Late some term of endearment for dead people that only apply to some? Thought it just meant they were dead.

Havoc 1999 has a bizarre popularity for whatever reason, I guess due to the Russo debut aspect. On 24/7 they used to show it regularly for reasons that elude me. It's a comical train wreck of a PPV, though not anywhere near as awful as WCW's 2000 output. But it does point the way towards that crap!

Well historically speaking this was the last WCW ppv to ever do a decent buyrate so maybe it's seen as the real beginning of the end? Personally speaking I know it was the last WCW ppv I ever bought. and I'd usually buy one a year.

By the way, does anyone else find the tagline on the poster hilarious given the content of the PPV?
