This list has caused quite some debate since the show aired, with one very obvious team drawing ire from people looking at the list... {Spoiler}1: The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom 2: The Hardy Boyz 3: Edge & Christian 4: New Age Outlaws 5: The Rock 'N Sock Connection 6: The Dudley Boyz 7: The British Bulldogs 8: The Rockers 9: Demolition 10: The Fabulous Freebirds I mean, #5 very rarely teamed at all! They were more great promo/backstage skit partners than they were a team. Some of the great teams left off whilst they were included is quite the farce.

Terrible list.
Is this WWE-only? If so, then how in the hell did the Freebirds even get considered since they were there so briefly?
If it's an all-time list, then how the hell did the Outlaws make it on the list? Even if it's WWE-only, the Outlaws shouldn't be so high. The Hart Foundation and Brain Busters aren't on the list at all? Neither are the Steiners.
I am going to assume it's a WWE-only list, but they were very lenient with the Freebirds.
If it's 'of all time' then they need the Midnight Express and Arn & Tully.

This list has caused me to do a FAN countdown voting thread in the Forum Games section.

I think it's based on whoever voted in a specific online poll. That said I don't think that's a definitive list of who they view the most highly cause they pretty much spent half Demolitions segments calling them L.O.D. knockoffs.

Demolition at that position makes me furious. I didn't like the list, but the program was very good, i say, the things that the wrestlers said, the recaps of the 10 teams and all.

If I recall, the WWE Countdown voice-over woman says that THEY (WWE video content department?) come up with the ten choices. WWE fans then vote for the order of those ten. Either way, there's no way the Freebirds should belong on a WWE-centric tag team list over the Hart Foundation, Brain Busters, the Steiners. The Steiners didn't have the best WWE career themselves, but I'm comparing them to the Freebirds who had a cup of coffee there at best.

We're they right to leave off the Mega Powers? Them teaming up would be like prime stone cold and prime rock getting together. I know it was only a year give or take but it was entertaining. Especially the crazy promos.

I didn't mind the list because it seemed like they were setting the table for future HOF inductions and regaining good will with ex WWE stars like Hardys, Dudleys, etc. Rock N Sock being on the list is just stupid though.

Rock N Sock being on the list is just stupid though. YES. Other than that, the list was fine with me. Except the Dudleyz should have been way higher. Other than that though, fine with it.

You do all realize that these are voted on by the fans right? That's how "Yes" was voted the #2 catchphrase of all time

I finally watched the countdown and the narrator clarifies that it is the greatest tag team in WWE history.
In that case, the Fabulous Freebirds don't deserve to be on the list. They belong on the list if it's a list of greatest teams in all of history, but not specifically as one of the best in WWE history, since they were barely there.

I'm not surprised by them including the Freebirds because you have to have Michael Hayes involved in everything the WWE does for some reason. Like how he was in WWE All Stars, which I'm sure tons of people were clamoring for.

I hate lists. I'm glad that LOD got the number one spot, but these lists are lazy, and 6 months from now, they'll do another one and mix it around for added bullshit

Another bad list, any list will cause debate, but WWE are not doing too good with the ones ive seen of these so far.
New Age Outlaws were good for their time and short run, but Top 10 they are not. Rock and Sock? No No No!! They were a brief union, not a full time tag team.
I love the HB/DB/EC series, but I find EC's involvement is always rated too high as they felt like they wasnt a tag team even long (2 years?) The other two suit the list due to longevity of both teams but probably a lower ranking would be better.
No Hart Foundation or Steiner Brothers? Silly.

They have a list of 10 people/teams on the website adn then you vote for their order. It's not a complete free-for all
