I can't believe we are on page 5 an no one has mentioned this yet: Vickie being sick on Steph cartoon style.

It doesn't matter what you name because it's usually a last second entry that swings votes to win.

I can't believe we are on page 5 an no one has mentioned this yet: Vickie being sick on Steph cartoon style. WWE is known for silly standalone moments like this, though. The Gooker typically goes to big concepts that fall flat in a big way. So that's probably why it hasn't been mentioned. Don't get me wrong, it was still stupid. But I'd quicker give it to TNA or the Bellas.

Willow. It was Jeff Hardy pretending to be some creep running around with an umbrella. And we weren't supposed to realize it was him. Come on

Still the worst segment of this year and nobody can tell me otherwise. Did someone add that crap generic rock in the background for the youtube vid, or is that always playing? I don't watch TNA at all, and that convinced me that I probably shouldn't (which is probably totally unfair too...but man that was brutal).

Batista winning the Rumble - a case of awful booking by WWE nothing to do with Dave. Willow - they scrapped the gimmick which tells you something
I'm going ease off The Menagerie for now, Rebel looks to have a bit of promise despite only wrestling for a few months, and Crazy Steve has actually got over a little.

2014 is almost over. What'cha got?
Mine are...
WWE Network - $9.99: WWE's shameless network plugging. And hey, did you know you can buy a WWE Network t-shirt on their website for, yep, $9.99?! So instead of actually buying the Network, you can be a walking advertisement for it.
Willow: Instead of coming across as being creepy and unique, he comes across as being an umbrella toting goof. The gimmick's entertaining because it's so unintentionally funny.
2014 Royal Rumble match: Good grief, this sucked. Even if Bryan had entered and won, this probably would still be on here. Though Batista winning to the delight of no one helps. This won't go down in history as one of my favorite Rumble matches for sure.
Bella vs. Bella: I've watched very little of this, but I think judging by the reactions, it's safe to say this is definitely a contender. Hey, I don't have to lie down on a bed of nails to tell you it wouldn't be comfortable and I don't have to watch these segments to tell you they suck.
WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar: Man, did this ever have the potential to be awesome. Sadly, it wasn't. Brock Lesnar wins the WWE title in an incredible fashion, has a rematch with Cena the next month....and then disappears from TV for the rest of the year with hardly a mention of him on television. Boy, what a great champion.

I think the Network shilling is going to win the Gooker easily.
My personal Gooker is still Kazarian vs. Crazzy Steve. I find it fascinating how horrible that "match" was and TNA should feel embarrassed that they let that segment air.

The $9.99 nonsense should definitely be in the running. But for me, it's still a three way between Willow, Samuel Shaw and the Bellas.

Here are my top three and why.
3. Samuel Shaw - I think he was the runaway winner before Willow came out and I think the reason he would be third in my mind is because he was for the most part an undercard act and stayed that way. He's basically a modern day Bastion Booger, Duke Droese, stuff like that, where it's a bad gimmick, but it was stuck in the undercard. It made the television bad, and I think without the other two, this would be the runaway.
2. Willow - Ok, so then Willow came around and he was the runaway winner. Here's an analogy. Myspace.com was this huge deal a few years ago, then it fell off and Facebook came around and seems to have been the most mainstream and well known social media website. What happened with myspace though? Myspace really showed that, while so many people can be creative, that doesn't mean their creativity is any good, and that's why myspace fell off the cliff. People were allowed to modify their pages so much, that it just became a pain in the ass to view. When Facebook came in, it was just a basic layout, and while there have been some changes, it's generally the same thing and is still pretty basic. Jeff Hardy and Willow are like myspace. Jeff Hardy feels that this creative idea is good, but in reality, it's not. It's genuinely not, like, most people panned the gimmick outright. And because of how bad it was, it turned people off to Jeff Hardy, who is still a very talented performer. The other big issue is Jeff Hardy as a name is a draw. Hell, in 2010, the biggest mistake they made was not to make Jeff Hardy the top name being brought in on that Jan 4 show instead of Hogan and company. At that point, Jeff Hardy was a bigger star then Hulk Hogan, but TNA didn't realize it. So, why would you take this big star Jeff Hardy off TV and replace him with this Willow nonsense. Not only is it bad creatively, but it's bad in a business sense. So when I look at it, Willow would be worse then Sam Shaw, even though Shaw lasted longer in the year.
1. The Bella Twins - So, the Bella nonsense came up, and I even replied to a statement I said in this thread about how it was a fight between Shaw and Willow, and then the Bellas might have to go into this fight as well. The biggest difference between Brie and Nikki and Sam Shaw and Willow is, despite Shaw and Willow being terrible characters, they're actually pretty good talent wise. Yes, Samuel Shaw is a terrible gimmick, but it's like IRS in that he plays it so well. His in ring work isn't gang busters, but the worst you can say about Shaw is he's competent. Jeff Hardy is an incredible talent, and the worst you can say about his in ring work is he does too much. With the Bellas, they are a black hole of talent. Brie can't cut promos at all. She wrestled Stephanie McMahon, a non wrestler, someone who hasn't done anything in ring in almost a decade, and she outwrestled someone on the main roster. Brie Bella is so bad, that the crowd was cheering the mega heel Stephanie. They would have these in ring promos like with Jerry Springer and had such bad writing and Nikki saying she wish Brie had died in the womb. Nikki, to her credit, did get jacked and is better then what she used to be, but what she used to be was one of the worst ever, and she hasn't improved to be a competent worker yet. On top of that, this was all over the television. It was a ratings killer, and that's likely the reason why the angle was pretty much dropped and Brie was turned heel. All logic in the angle, whatever there was, was thrown out the window just to end it. So, with bad wrestling, bad segments, bad dialogue, being shown up by more talented people, and just bad everything all around, I personally feel that the saga of the Bella Twins deserves the gooker for 2014.
