First it was Bryan at WrestleMania clean as a sheet with only one finisher needed, and now it's The Shield tonight in one hell of a brawl over his beloved Evolution stable. He's putting over guys left and right here. THIS ISN'T LIKE HIM AT ALL, or at least the him a lot of people make him out to be. So to me, this could be for many reasons... *He's got some kind of terminal illness *He got visited by the Three Ghosts of Christmas *He lost his shovel somewhere in Titan Towers (the search for which will become the plot of a WWE Network exclusive movie) *He's a Skrull and has been since his haircut I don't know, but it's just funny to see "Hunter the Almighty One True Destroyer" seemingly doing the good deeds for the up-and-coming guys, subverting everything we say about him. What do you guys think? (Not serious by the way )

He's about to turn 45 years old. Even he knows at this point he can't be winning matches against the younger guys anymore. It took him years, but he finally figured out how to put people over.

He'll be back, and then there'll be a mass burial.

He has more control over the company than ever and finally sees that he can't keep burying guys like before if the company needs to thrive. Considering this, he's finally changed.

Triple H is the shit and now he's going to show all of the doubters why by putting on absolute clinics with all of the new rising stars and putting them over.

As I said leading up to Wrestlemania: After this video, it's pretty clear that not only has WWE had the story as it currently is set up planned since Summerslam, but that they've had the story planned for the past 15 years. HHH's Reign of Terror was done not through a narcissistic power grab by the owner's son-in-law, but an elaborate storyline set up to make sure that Wrestlemania 30 ended with Bryan Danielson more over than anyone else in at least a decade. We shouldn't criticize Hunter, we should praise his incredible foresight. Everything HHH has done for the past decade plus has been a way to get heat on him, to make it so that Bryan, and now the Shield, beating him are huge deals. Had HHH been beaten by Scott Steiner or Booker T or RVD in the early 2000s, him losing now wouldn't matter. But because he won those, it makes his current losses seems huge. HHH is just a genius at building new talent, guys.

I think Triple H has realized that having a strong twilight to his career will absolutely cement his legacy. As such, he's having better matches than he's had in ages, and putting over new guys in the process (and as such, his matches with them will always be remembered as their over-the-top big break moments).
He's reached the point where wrestling immortality and putting over new talent are the ends to the same means.
Plus, he has FINALLY figured out how to play the Vince McMahon role of evil owner.

He's learned that the greatest burial of all is letting others bury him.

It’s possible that he’s grown as a performer and realizes that it’s time for him to pass the torch to the next generation of superstars. The Byrans and Reigns are the guys that will be his A+ stars soon and its in HHH’s best interest to make these guys look good now. Plus there was nothing more pathetic as the Flairs and Hogans and Pipers in the 90's holding desperately on to their faded past just like Harely Race and Buddy Rogers did before them . Maybe Hunter doesn’t want to repeat their mistakes. Maybe, just maybe, HHH is at a point where he feels his legacy is finally secured and can let the new guys rise up and become greater star than he ever was...
And maybe I’ll be in a three way with Kate Upton and Nicci Pisarri, THAT BASTARD IS UP TO SOMETHING!!!!!

I don't buy it. He is lulling us into a false sense of security. He is only making it looks like he is putting people over. When we least expect it He is going to squash Bryan, Punk, the Shield, in one minute, in the same match, and hold all the titles simultaneously, and all Raws from then on will start with a 30 min HHH promo.

Because it's not Triple H out there, it's some guy named Paul. He's convinced both Randy Orton and Batista otherwise.

It turns out, Edge's old theme is about Triple H. We thought we knew him, knew him, but really, we will never know him. We are lost. We are scared.

I was so confused. He was brawling with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose like they were the Rock and Stone Cold out there. Whatever happened to good old kick, Pedigree, 3?
I for one, am very happy to see it. Especially since it wasn't just him beating up Rollins in the crowd and then Reigns wins, with Evgolution only selling to Reigns or something like that. Bravo. Also, i slept through 75% of the special event, so i might be wrong on some of the things I recall.

To HHH's credit, he's made more new stars in 6 months since he started in creative than Vince has in almost 10 years.
