Ok, let me get this. These people that have bought her music, tickets to her concerts, bought her merchandizing and made her a star, she's found a way to squeeze even more cash out of them? Her way of thanking her fan base, which she'd be nothing without, is to get even more of their money. I can't tell if that's the business or just freakin' evil. Yeah, it's both. Yes, Avril Lavigne discovered that she could charge people for a meet and greet. No other celebrity has ever done that before. She learnt it from Wrestling Superstar Virgil.

What if Tom Hiddleston took a picture with Avril Lavigne?

Avril is pretty much the worst person in history No she isn't. Hitler charged $500 for his picture. But that's AFTER adjusting for inflation. While he was alive, he was a mere $5 per pic and $5 per autograph.

Sorry, my phone dropped like a stone mid post. Anyway, in Rhianna's there was groping, hugging, suggestive posing etc Just imagine what a Layla meet and greet looks like. No fan is safe... I'd feel safe in Layla's loving arms.

Gill Anderson (40£ for auto , 40 for photo)
Diana Rigg (think it was 45£ , anyway well worth it as she will prolly never do another con , it was not her thing)
Ursula Andress (40£ for auto , she's only had 2 signings : 05' & '09.....I was very lucky getting vintage Dr No stuff signed in '09)
Some people think 80$ for MacGyver is costly but I'd pay it , he's a TV icon imo.
Palpatine will be 70£ for auto , kinda steep but a very rare chance.

I wanna go to a Rihanna meet and greet now. I would never pay for a meet and greet but that was a meet and squeeze, so I should start saving up.

I'm just throwing it out there that the last time I saw Weird Al in concert, he set up a table outside the arena, signed and took photos for free, and didn't leave until he met with the last person in line. He didn't do that at the show I attended, which was back in 2012. I was really disappointed too. :-(

Before we start harping on people for paying money to meet other people, I want to add that I paid $150 to get my photo taken with Cheech and Chong backstage at one of their shows. I got a goodie bag with a laminated pass, t-shirt and a few other goodies.
In turn, C&C donated the money to a local food shelf.
It was a win-win as a long-time fan of theirs.
As much as I don't care about about Avril, there are people who like her enough to spend that kind of money. It's their money.
