While browsing the ECW page, I saw that Chris Benoit was listed in the description for Ep.92. Does anyone know if this is a change in WWE policy (if such a policy exists), or just an error?
Mods please lock if this has already been asked and/or answered.

There isn't a policy to remove him from history, I mean he shows up on title histories and such... Though they usually don't advertise him.
So it could be an error on that part or they just loaded Hardcore TV with the tv guide description which undoubtedly had that listed.

This thread title sounds like the most depressing documentary.

Benoit is not edited off the Network. You will not see him featured on a Coutdown List like 'Best Submission Moves' or 'Best Canadian Wrestlers' (if those ever get made), but you will see him if you watch a PPV, Raw, or SmackDown he was part of.

That I understand but until this point I have not seen the name "Chris Benoit" on the WWE Network site. Just curious.

Finding Benoit would be even worse.

This thread title sounds like the most depressing documentary. Yet "Waiting for Malenko" is a fun musical comedy. Anyway I've seen Benoit listed in an ECW Hardcore TV description as well. The weirdest thing I find is the chapter breaks don't list his matches so you have this weird really long break with nothing listed inside so many PPV's progress bars

Great, the video screens show Chris in the process of hitting those poor women.

The description for WCW Mayhem 1999, names Jarrett, Sting, and Bret Hart, but omits Benoit, who was the fourth finalist in the semi final match-up.

Has any benoit footage shown up in the live stream now that i think about it? The wcw ppvs that air all seem to either be pre or post benoit, and they almost never show any 2000-2007 WWF/E ppvs (again, this is the live stream, all those ppvs are archived to watch at any time).

He's been on some RAWs and Smackdowns shown on the stream.

from what I understand the policy is "he existed and we wont pretend he didn't, we're just not going to promote him at all".

I want to see the "Best Canadian Wrestlers" episode of Countdown just to see how awkward things get for the panelists (especially Bret Hart and Nattie). Has any benoit footage shown up in the live stream now that i think about it? The wcw ppvs that air all seem to either be pre or post benoit, and they almost never show any 2000-2007 WWF/E ppvs (again, this is the live stream, all those ppvs are archived to watch at any time). I saw Spring Stampede '99 on the live stream with a Benoit/Malenko vs Raven/Saturn match and there's a spot where Benoit does an unprotected top rope headbutt onto Raven who had a chair on top of his head and it made me cringe with the gift of hindsight.

He's in the house, don't worry, the dogs are in the enclosed pool area.

This thread title makes me think someone doesn't know what happened to Benoit and is running around looking for him.
