Clowney and JJ Watt! Offenses beware.

That's the only option for Houston there. Well done, Texans' FO.

I'm optimistic about Clowney, and not just because I'm a Gamecocks fan. I genuinely believe he's a great defensive player.

Clowney has been living off of that one hit against Michigan for over a year now. Not sure what footage these guys were watching but he quits on way too many plays.

You take him hoping he fully channels his talent. If he does, he's the best defensive player in the game in a few years. Huge IFs.

Part of me thinks Jadaveon Clowney is going to turn out to be a tremendous defensive end in the league, while another part of me thinks he is the football Gary Matthews Jr., with a reputation based off of one highlight reel play.

That's the only option for Houston there. Well done, Texans' FO. Mack is far better, doesn't take seasons off and fits the system.

Mike Sando
10 of 15 people I spoke with said Clowney at No. 1, with some support for Blake Bortles and a feel that Johnny Manziel would be a long shot. Said an offensive minded head coach then: "You've gotta take Clowney because he's the most talented guy and none of the quarterbacks are good enough to go that early.

Clowney has been living off of that one hit against Michigan for over a year now. Not sure what footage these guys were watching but he quits on way too many plays. The guy's been hailed as the next big thing since high school, was in the Heisman race as a Sophomore, and had an insane combine and pro day performance. People point to the hit as what gave him hype, but that was just one of the reason's he's been so hyped.
