If we chanted loud enough and long enough, could we/the wwe universe get the wwe to bring back the hardcore title? We should start chanting for it on raw and smackdown and ppvs. They could have a hardcore tournament for it because the fans demanded it. Imagine bad news Barrett hardcore champion. Just sayin. Who's with me?

With the 24/7 rule.
Wrestlers can use Tout or whatever and record themselves winning the title.

Have you seen what the WWE considers "hardcore" these days?
I can't see the title being booked as anything other than a joke if it were brought back.

No. I just find the whole concept of hardcore wrestling to not be that great anymore.

the answer is no, I'd love for it to be brought back as a way to give some of the "forgotten" stars something to do and for the entertainment value it could give.

I'd love for a Hardcore Champion to be doing one of the post-show panels, then they're attacked and pinned, and the new champ just takes over and continues the panel like nothing happpened.

No-ones gonna start chanting for it I'm afraid.
I'd like to see a 24/7 title. Some people hated the hardcore title once the 24/7 rules came into play but that's when I began to love it. The stupid action, ridiculous champs, it was all so much fun. A new 24/7 title can be used to give all the midcard and below guys something to do, and can take place over the main shows, superstars, WWE.com, the app.

I don't care for hardcore wrestling at all, but the 24/7 rule was a lot of fun.

Ugh. No. Garbage matches are a thing greatfully left in the past for the most part. Though I do agree with PKO that a 24/7 title would be great for WWE right now. Or maybe a WWE Network title. Something that will allow them to do more comedy in within the confines of a fun title match.

The only guy who made the 24/7 rule work was Steve Blackman because he was an absolute badass who literally fended off contenders with a stick. These guys need the chance to show that they're "good wrestlers" as well, and the 24/7 rule won't allow for that. If the Hardcore Title has to be a comedy title, I'd rather it be in Miracle on 34th Street Fight type of matches.

The newest trend in pro wrestling is booking like it's 1999. I could point to a company that will be quite receptive to your pitch.

How about just the 24/7 rule? You don't need the hardcore element to make it work.

Honestly I prefer not. The hardcore title worked well for its time, but the elements that made it work aren't there today. At the time the hardcore style was cool and fresh , and the roster had gotten so huge that it made sense to have yet another belt. The roster is still pretty big today, but now WWE has another program, NXT, where guys who aren't doing much can go. And personally, I think the hardcore style looks outdated.
