He's very talented and could have great matches, but he'd be directionless just like so many (too many) guys at the moment.

I wouldn't mind him coming back to reform his team with The Miz as long as they slotted in to a gatekeeper role putting over young talent (kind of like the Outlaws last run) rather than being the focus

John Morrison should come back. He's the perfect balance between having a unique look without being too cartoony.

No interest in seeing him back. He's terrible on the mic, so he'll never get past the mid-card anyways. I also think the ship has sailed on him since he's been gone for close to 3 years now. And when do you even hear anyone talk about him anymore? If WWE were so interested in him, I'm sure they would have tried to get him back by now.

I would accept him back on the condition that he brought someone along to translate whatever he tries to get across in promos.

The Palace Of Wisdom stuff was cornwallace. I liked him better as Johnny Nitro, the errand boy for Eric Bischoff.

With few exceptions, no one really talks about WWE alumni in general, even if they do find success on the indies. Everyone talks about how X hot young Indy talent would be great in a major promotion, but anyone who leaves WWE just seems to fall off the face of the earth. It's one of the reasons I wish WWE would do more with the guys they have rather than releasing them or letting their contracts run out. Because no matter how much they achieve or if they put on five star/MOTYC matches, it will go largely unacknowledged and unappreciated because they have the tag of being "the guy who couldn't hack it in the big leagues".

I think he'd be a great addition to the roster. There are lots of people to feud with. He could have short runs similar to RVD. I hope we haven't seen the last of him.

He recently worked a show here in Phoenix for a new start up company called International Wrestling Federation in the main event against Shelton Benjamin.
Yeah, the match stunk up the joint!

He was talented in the ring and yeah, kind of sucked on the mic, but he was also eye candy. There are divas who are purely eye candy, so I wouldn't mind him coming back solely for that purpose, lol. I did enjoy his parkour spots slightly more than I have Kofi's too, though.

The bizarre, out there, feels like he took one too many hits of acid in the 60s Morrison was one of my favorite characters ever, and one I wish they would have focused more on.

I don't know. I feel like there's a distinction between 'did this guy do good in WWE?' and 'do you want him back in WWE?' It's not mutually exclusive. The Dirt Sheet/Colons feud is one of my favorite things WWE has done in recent years but I don't want JoMo and Carlito back - at least not as active wrestlers. They'd be kind of like RVD at best, only less over.

I loved Miz and Morrison together doing the Dirt Sheet. They didn't keep them together long enough. That said no I don't see him coming back to WWE. Really surprised he never showed up in TNA.

There's always a chance. Morrison's still young, and he seems to be on pretty good terms with WWE since they plugged his fitness program a while back. I doubt he'd get a main event push or anything - if they overlooked him when he was in his prime and they had two world titles, he would have no chance nowadays - but he'd probably get a Jericho or RVD type of run. Yeah, that's what I was going to say. He is/was popular enough that he'd get a respectable pop as a surprise Rumble entrant. He would do well in mid-card programs putting over and competing against the younger guys and he would probably make for a decent trainer/agent down the line.

I think the only way Morrison would fit in at this point is if they brought him back to team with Miz, since Miz is doing absolutely nothing right now, or if they somehow could also bring back Melina and tell Mercury that he's needed on the main roster, for an MNM return.
But the first one really isn't practical, and there's so many reasons for why the second one can't happen.
As a singles wrestler, like others have said, there's nothing he can do that other people on the roster can't do better.
