Injuring the best defenseman paid off for the Wild. Go with what works, I guess. And I f***ing hate the Wild go figure Yeah it blows my mind that a team can stack themselves with as many great forwards as the Wild have in the past few years while continuing to play the same boring trap game. As for tonight's game, Price not being there is a pretty big problem. They looked better tonight, but still had moments where they were making bad passes and shots. They need the powerplay back to where it should be. Other than that, the Rangers have a lot of goons and the refs are f***ing up so far (but what else is new in the NHL?)

*Looks around* Uh...hello? Any Blackhawk fans in the place? King fans? Hello? Sorry. I was watching this game with the concentration of Lenny waiting for his Springfield Citizen of the Year award. Anyways, hey Jonathan, what did you think of tonight's performance? Thanks Quickie! Also, Thank you Based Carter!

Now if he went moshing like Bledsoe, he'd be my favorite player.

Eh, they got beaten silly by Minnesota last series once. They'll bounce back. No worries yet.
Hell, they were down 2-0 in the first round. I was concerned then.

I still love that Matteau's son plays for the Devils. Talk about irony.

Apparently the Sports Business Awards is a thing. The NHL won 3 awards from it: League of the Year, Executive of the Year (Gary Bettman), and Event of the Year (Winter Classic 2014).

I'm so proud of these guys. Spelling... not so much. What's sad is that this may be the last game they will ever play.

Its the nature of the beast. What happened was that the Indy Fuel will play at the Fairgrounds Coliseum, where the Ice used to be. They alternated between the Fieldhouse and Pan Am Plaza, and those who have seen the Plaza know how decrepit it has become. The USHL stated it is unworthy of being a valid venue, abd the Fieldhouse is impractical, so that's all she wrote. And speaking of ECHL, Las Vegas has to suspend operations due to similar problems. You should've heard the idea about playing on the roof of a casino!

Finally NYI has a real solid goalie for a few more years. Something they haven't had in a while. Now Halak has some stability after being in four teams since trade deadline

Now Halak has some stability after being in four teams since trade deadline All they need now is to shore up that D and they'll be back in the playoffs again, especially with a healthy Tavares and a beastly Okposo(if this year wasn't just a fluke for him).
