And it's almost official. 25% of the season done and still winless in the Western Conference. Man I wonder if Eakins coached during the 2013 lockout season with an even worse squad, would they have been the only winless team in history?

And Calgary just scored a game tying goal with 5 seconds left despite being down 4-2. f*** THIS f***ING SEASON! My favorite team is playing like garbage and my second least favorite team is the most likeable team in the league this season.

7 losses in a row for the Oilers. Dallas Eakins still has a job. The same one who is going to reach 100 career losses halfway through the season and break an NHL coaching record if he's still employed

The Rangers won the first NBC game of the season 3-0 at the Flyers, including Martin St. Louis getting his 1,000th point.
Blackhawks at the Ducks right now, available outside of Chicago and the Anaheim market on the US NHL Network. Richards just put the Hawks 1-0 up.

4-1 win for the Blackhawks, and they're now 4-1 on their road trip (only loss was at Vancouver), with just the Kings tomorrow night remaining. Excellent performance, should have won by far more.

that Avs/Hawks game a few nights back had some horrid officiating, and most in favor of the Hawks. I say this as an Avs fan yes, but I can admit they also played for crap, but there were penalties called that shouldn't have been, and ones that weren't called that should have.
The Avs also should have played defense. At least Pickard played like a damned monster in net.

Rangers will be playing with a few men down today. Chris Kreider will not be playing due to the death of his grandfather, Tanner Glass has come down with a case of the mumps, and Dan Boyle has flu-like symptoms. JT Miller has been called up as one replacement. No word for the other 2.

I am very grateful you guys beat the fowl. If it wasn't for Freddy Andersen, it might have been uglier. Also, Corey Perry is a douchebag, right? Especially in the manner he cross-checked Hoss with like 1:30 left in the whole game. |
