I want Chicago and Montreal in the Finals. That just feels like a hockey battle for the Cup, media markets be damned.

Cheers to Teemu. He and Brodeur were the two main hold outs form when I became a hockey fan. Happy retirement.

I'm rooting for the Habs vs. Blackhawks. I want an O6 Stanley Cup and f*** the Rags getting any further.
Shame it couldn't be the Ducks representing the West. I wanted Teemu to get a more dignified exit.
Quack.

On a side note, I'm soooo nervous for Game 7 tomorrow(it's still Thursday out west) night. I really hope the boys can pull it out and get a rematch with the Blackhawks. I'm sorry, what was that? I can't here you over the chants of "Go Kings Go!" eminating from my house. I'm gonna savor this victory for the next 24 hours, but the Hawks scare the crao out of me. They're ridiculous and have dominated us recently.

Sorry, triplethreatmark and Steve, but I am throwing all my rooting interest towards the East.
Go Rangers/Habs winner. I'm officially sick to death of Chicago and LA. 4th time in 5 years either makes the Finals. Ugh.

Man I wish I was a big LA Kings or Blackhawks fan because this kind of hate would be music to my ears. Now I'm sad

We did a WCWBA with wrestling and basketball.
Maybe we should try a hockey wrestling thing next year, since the Kings are kinda sorta becoming a heel.

Not gonna go all roomtemperature on the Kings, but.... I really am not happy we get these teams again. I hate sequels, and rematches, ESPECIALLY teams that have already won before.
This isn't like Penguins-Red Wings 2009 where Pittsburgh was trying to win. Instead, it's basically like rich banks trying to see who is richer. Save for Gaborik, basically everyone already has a Cup.

6 elimination games in 2 rounds? They have been playing with fire all spring, triplethreatmark. It's a high-wire act and it's amazing how they have yet to get burned. ONE home-ice advantage under Sutter- at some point, are they ever gonna want a high seed or are they content to coast until April?

Man I wish I was a big LA Kings or Blackhawks fan because this kind of hate would be music to my ears. Now I'm sad I will admit, it does feel kinda nice. Being a Blackhawks fan is the only the ONLY time I can feel some sort of superiority over other fans. Other than that there's the Bears....the Bulls and.....oh God...the Cubs. Yeah, the Blackhawks are the only positive thing going on in the Chicago sports world.

They know their team and are completely confident in their abilities. The other thing is(for the most part, anyways), both fan bases and teams seem to respect each other.

Home ice again. The Kings are always a difficult out, so getting it done in at most 5 is the target. Getting to Game 6 and going to LA is something I'd rather not have.
Habs over Rangers in 6 in the other series.

(Still am, but it was harder in the last 3 years since they were the farm team for the Canucks...) Hopefully, they can start playing better during the playoffs and you know, not get swept.

A TMM penalty doesn't get called on the Canadiens as they make it 2-1.
