Damn, 1st row tickets for KOT are $75. For one day, or all 3 days? One day. Second row is $50, third row is $40, and so forth until $20 for just general admission. |

So I finally caught up after missing the show last night. Pretty damn fun, majority of the matches were at least very good.
Marked out harder for the return of Tursas more than I expected to.
And that ending...man...they weren't delaying the craziness, were they?

I will say, it was easily the best live show I've seen probably since KOT '11 weekend. The atomsphere in that building last night was F***-ING CRAY-CRAY! Also, the only time in my life where doing The Wave was acceptable.  Then...that ending of joy followed by sheer terror. Just...insanity. I'm so glad that CHIKARA is back. Like, seriously. |

Those buttheads will pay. Guaranteed. == So, off the top of my head (or looking elsewhere *wink*), it looks like 2/3 of the King of Trios field might already be filled out. 1. BDK 3.0 (Ares, Nokken and Tursas) 2. Spectral Envoy 3. Colony 4. Colony: Extreme Force 5. Gekido (I'm thinking Pieces of Hate and 17.) 6. Devastation Corporation 7. Odditorium 8. Baltic Siege 9. The Bloc Party 10. The Submission Squad 11. Archibald Peck and 3.0 That number could go up a couple though, especially if Dasher and Touchdown bring in another Throwback (a certain "classic" wrestler) or if by some miraculous feat, Kobald returns (It could happen. Wonder how the health care system is in Bled Island). And of course, you need an old school trio...an outside indy trio (Pfft...CHIKARA...you use the Young Bucks. Team Bullet Club plzkthx!)...an outside Japan trio perhaps. Or better yet, maybe a certain basketball player. |

With the shows being $15 a piece, my guess is that they'll do a "B2G1" deal for KOT. All three nights for $30 would be great. |

I enjoyed the iPPV - the best match was probably the war of the Colonies, with the main event and the four way tag running it close. Great energy to the show throughout, Icarus winning the title was a feelgood moment, JFDC taking his place as the most hated rudo in the company, and I like this Ashley Remington guy.
I have a feeling Kobald comes back either at Trios or in the season finale. As for Trios, I'd love to see KE4TPG and Princess Kimberlee as a team, just to see Kimber tear it up against a load of dudes.

I don't know why Chikara doesn't do more iPPVs. The audience is there begging for it for the most part. I guess I can see being difficult if they use a lot of outside talent what with Gabe and ROH not letting many people do things like that outside their walls (I think Peck is the lone exception) but outside the KoT they don't use much outside talent. For company that is pretty hand to mouth cutting off a revenue stream like that is just odd.

I know this is from AGES ago but it seriously amazes me how strong Daizee Haze was, it was a really good match as well and along with Pinkie's crazy-ass Pink Ant stuff; Death Haze were my favourite part of the BDK, I imagine that if Daizee was larger she could probably bench press the entire building. Since Chikara has quite a comic book feel to it at times, they missed out the opportunity to rename Daizee to something like Daizee Bane.
