So, going slightly off-topic, I've been buying DVDs off of SMV, mostly the 2010 season. I'm up to the middle of King of Trios now, just some random musings...
Damn, the Super Smash Bros. fell down the card quickly, huh? Other than the six man tag from A Touch of Class, do they win at all?
Colin Delaney is not the worst commentator they had. I especially enjoyed him and Mantis commentating together at King of Trios, as well as him and Icarus for two matches at A World of Comforting Illusions.
I love how Green Ant was booked on the first few shows, leading up to him getting the pin in the KOT semis. Having not seen most of the previous season, was that the first time he won the fall in a match?
Speaking of things I love, the booking of the tournament. Big Japan and Osaka Pro looked awesome. It's crazy that Quack put them over 12 regulars, including himself. And just the way certain people got to shine. The FIST/Throwbacks match is amazing, and Sugar Dunkerton got a lot of great moments in it. Seeing the Young Bucks go heel mid-match was cool, and the Big Japan/Team Frightening match looked downright brutal. The Colony/BDK 2 match main eventing night 2 was perfect, giving the BDK's first pinfall loss the spotlight it deserved.
Frightmare is lucky to be alive! After the beating he took on Night 1, he and Ophidian nearly destroyed each other on Night 2, yet the kid STILL walked out of the building on his own.
What I want to know is, when did people start to get really critical of Quack's booking? So far, I like what I've seen, but I know a lot of the more recent choices have had people scratching their heads. What was the starting point?

Grimsly is such a random choice. He teamed with Jakob and Nokken last shows, so I guess he liked him as a tag partner. He's probably the most competent of The Odditorium, too. |

CHIKARA posted on their Twitter that Lovelace vs. MISSILE! ASSAULT! ANT! will be part of the pre-show which will start at 6:20pm. Helps out the rest of the card to be quite honest.
