I am curious where this leaves Titor and the Flood though.
Deucalion was Titor's star soldier. Now he's seemingly gone. With this, CHIKARA continues to prove to be a throne in their side too...so how do they respond? I doubt they simply ignore it and move along.
Then there's the Flood. What becomes of them now? Some were arguably loyal to Deucalion, like the Xtreme Force that were Titor boys too, but some were only loyal out of the promise of revenge or fear of Deucalion.
I can't see the faction staying as is, simply because I feel there will be a rift that is created with Deucalion gone. Jacobs will want the power and to continue on likely as the unrivaled figurehead...but without the big guy there, I'm unsure if all of the Flood members will fall in line behind him.
Then there are the cases of Soldier Ant and Incoherence, and how they will shuffle through this.
And, there's still the lingering issue of the Eye of Tyr that Jakob's been using to control Nokken and Delirious seemingly used to twist Hallowicked & Frightmare.

The executives of Titor are businessmen. They might finally realize CHIKARA is too hard to end and just cut their losses and move on. For the actual Flood, Bakabella and his boys only cared about money. If Jacobs can't pay up, they'll split. Jakob was likely never loyal at all and only joined them to get the BDK to himself. Bodhi only wanted the eye and if he, Delirious and Jakob can share it, I doubt he cares. The rest might stick with Jacobs, but by that point, they're just another group. |

I think Soldier Ant's domination of the Cibernetico he'll move up into the leadership role (at least when it comes to destruction). He'd also know all of Chikara's secrets which would give him a leg up on everything. I guess the key becomes "Can the Flood stick together" but I'd think at least the BDK and Titor guys would maintain their alliance. Not much reason for the others. I think Incoherence and Mantis will be the wild card in the whole thing since I see Mantis doing anything and everything to free them from the Eye. |

I think this is what I would have done:
1. I would have had Jacobs as the leader from the reveal at NPWD to now. With Deucalion only being revealed tonight after Jacobs lost.
2. None of the deaths this year.
3. I would have had 17 challenge Icarus where JFDC did. Then Tursas in November and then have Jacobs VS Icarus tonight.
4. Once Deucalion debuts, then the fatalities start, but also have him compete in multi-man tags before eventually moving him to singles.

One interesting thing: They've basically given Kid Cyclone the character we wanted Quack or Green Ant to have: the bitter jerk who's gone over to the dark side out of his desire to defend Chikara from invaders. I legit would not mind him and his followers as the new big bad of next season.
