 Trios action added to Thunderball. Are the Bloc Party just gonna be Trios Fodder? I don't see them winning either of their matches this weekend... hopefully they pull off an upset. |

I feel like someone will die at the end of that match I'd be okay with NRG going away. Nothing against either of the guys personally, I just loathe the "gimmick". |

I'd be okay with NRG going away. Nothing against either of the guys personally, I just loathe the "gimmick". The MC hammer pants dont help too I "get" the outfits. They're trying to be High Energy. High Energy wore outfits like that in 1992. It's just a really bad idea for a gimmick. Hey, It could have worked and been brilliant like a lot of the other CHIKARAverse gimmicks that seemed horrible at first but ended up being awesome... it just didn't. Short of having Anvil and Koko team with them in an Atomicos I think it's a bust. I'd get Hayley to make them entirely different gimmicks at the expense of whomever came up with the NRG idea, and start over.  |

I'm going to stick with a wait and see on NRG currently. They haven't really impressed me but I remember not being very impressed with the Devastation Corporation when they first showed up and now they're one of my favorite trios in Chikara.

Anyone else notice the theme to Chikara High Noon 2011 sounds almost EXACTLY like the theme to the kids cartoon M.A.S.K.?

And the song from King of Trios that year sounded a lot like that song from the Transformers animated movie! But yeah man, Quack's forever referencing pop culture. The show titles and dvd covers are just the most obvious ways. He's so blatant that I'm sure at times it would fall out from under the umbrella of parody. |
