If I start seeing ads pop up in the middle of old PPVs, my subscription will be as good as dropped. I'm not paying for a premium service so that I can sit through commercials.

Ads during natural commercials and breaks during the live stream or at the start or end of on-demand stuff, that's fine.
If ads start coming up ten minutes, that's not cool.

Im surprised that Ads weren't on the site from the beginning, I wouldn't mind it one bit. I envision it akin to the way Hulu does ads.

During PPVs I have no issue. They need something to break up the matches and it gives an oppurtunity for a piss break.
In between programs too it is fine. But if they start showing up during programs and before stuff on On-Demand they can piss off and do one.

Yeah, if they do it in between shows, and during the normal break spots on stuff like NXT and Main Event that is fine...as long as the subscription price doesn't skyrocket as well.

Yeah, can't even upload episodes of Raw or Smackdown but they want to start shoehorning ads, right?

This- sometimes, and it's visible during shows like NXT/Main Event/Superstars, you do need an ad or two in the natural break spots to really get the right feeling. As long as it's done that way, there's no problems.

You're never going to get anything outside of the current 30 day delay when it comes to Raw and Smackdown because it lowers the value to NBCU and waiting a year to put ads in, if they do at all, doesn't seem like shoehorning them in.

Why not. I mean how many times can you watch Booker T cook his Fried Crab Salad or go through King's or Trish's house.
There's so much content on their that's already paced out for commercials why not throw one up every now and again so you don't have 10-15 minutes after a show ends on the live stream.
Again this is only for the live stream that ads should be shown. If they want to throw a 30 sec. add up before an on demand show too that's fine. It needs to track your account though so if you need to refresh/restart you don't have to watch another add. One on-demand show one ad. Don't start pausing the on-demand shows to throw in adds though cause they can go scratch on that.
If they can do this and generate some new revenue maybe this will delay any price hikes or cause it to be less. There's lots of spots to throw in adds in what they have already.

It's a sensible idea really. If programmes being interrupted by commercials really annoyed people they'd all have watched nothing by Cspan. You get commercials on TV, commercials on many other on demand services and on practically all Youtube videos at the beginning with an increasing number throughout longer length content, and yet all these services are growing in popularity at a very fast rate. Commercials on the WWE network will not really negatively impact anyone's decision on whether to order the product and it could bring in millions in revenue.

WWE has surveyed people about a possible increase of a few dollars shortly after Netflix announced their price increase. Ads even at a few dollars more wouldn't bother me personally, I was more looking at them getting to the $20+ range being too much for a sub and have ads in it.

Plus side, there might be a smaller ad rate due to this not being on television. FAN commercial spots on WWE Network?

I've heard for weeks about Netflix raising their prices. What's this all about? I checked my last two billing statements and they're still $7.99 a month. I even signed on to check what the website looks like to people who haven't signed up and it still says $7.99 a month. I google it and none of hte news pops up about a price increase. Just that they've added more contact from various studios.
Also:
If it keeps the price low, Commericals are fine. Though it better only pop up when appropriate. If I see one during the middle of a match on ppv, then heads will roll. If it's the occasional intermission like they've recently shoehorned them in on their regular ppvs in between matches, that's fine too.

If it means the Network get's to stick around I'm OK with it. It's better then the alternative of no On-Demand library and going back to expensive as shit PPVs.

Yeah that Netflix hike is for new customers only right now...think the existing ones get the hike in 2 years? edit : disregard didn't see the link posted already
