Grew up on an acreage and there was a pig farm nearby. Smells like home to me.
You just adapt to the smell and don't notice it, until you smell it again and there it is.

The smell of my parents' basement. They always roll their eyes in disbelief when I say so (saying it's musty, they wish they could find a way to freshen the air down there), but it's such a nice, comforting scent for me. I'm with you. I love the smell of underground parking garages too. |

Possibly a weird one, but the smell of my own sweat, not like, haven't showered in a while, starting to get crispy sweat, but post-workout etc sweat. I guess it's association with the endorphins etc, or like, because I know I've had a good workout then.
