Say what you want about his career since, with Big Momma's House and all that bullshit, but Martin Lawrence's sitcom is gold. His chemistry with Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold and Tommy Ford was top notch. Hell, when the actors corpsing only adds to the experience you know you got something special. Who else watched this shit?

I watched it. I missed Garrett Morris when they dropped the radio station.

It was really disappointing to find out he was basically a terror on the set and horrifying to his costars. It looked like a fun time, but I guess it wasn't.

Yeah that's what I was gonna say, it's a credit to both that he and Tisha had good on-screen chemistry when they hated each other.

Anyone else excited to see parentheses and then disappointed when the number within did not end in 76?

I was a fan of the show when I was a kid. Part of a nice block with In Living Color and Living Single (I'm pretty sure those all aired together, but I might be misremembering).

"Tom Savini also directed...and hated every second of dealing with the studio causing him to use several members of said studio as victims in certain scenes with no safety precautions."

I remember Living Single airing after Martin, but I think In Living Color might've aired on a different day. I do remember assorted other short lived shows being part of that block though.

Didn't his costar basically sue for sexual harassment? Yes, along with citing physical and verbal assaults against her by him. They settled out of court in order to get the final season completed, which she only agreed to shoot if she could do so without interacting with him.

Tisha Campbell. Apparently Martin started "living the gimmick" and tried to push up on her like he did on the show.

You can't forget the first 3 seasons of New York Undercover. It was Fox Thursday Nights and it was ****ING AWESOME. I vaguely remember In Living Color would air on Sunday nights, but Fox on Thursdays was the shit. Martin, Living Single, then New York Undercover. I remember everybody even the teachers would talk about getting home to watch that block on Thursdays.

That's completely awful and Martin Lawrence is an asshole for that...but I really hope that when he was served, he said "Damn, Gina!!!!"
