Phil Jackson has been fined $25,000 for tampering with Derek Fisher. Why it is not like he is trying to sign him as a players. Do the Thunder have any plans to make him their head coach. Nope, than shut up. What Fisher does after he retires is non of their business.

Larry Bird would like to keep his core group of players intact, including Lance Stephenson.

Nope, than shut up. What Fisher does after he retires is non of their business. He's not officially retired until the end of the season, regardless of what he says before. Erego, it qualifies as tampering to try to coax him into a head coaching job prior to them, even though everyone already knows that he's done.

I really hate the built vs. bought narrative. Also ....what? Tim didn't offer to do Lebron's taxes this year, and only offered to help him carry one of his bags into the stadium.

Spurs built their team while Miami bought superstars. With that said, if I were Miami I'd be very concerned. It's unlike Tim Duncan to talk trash to the press about his opponent. The fact that he is quoted in saying "We're going to do it this year" has to put a little fear in Miami.
Duncan, who is, by all accounts, the big fundamental with his quiet demeanor and simple game that had San Antonio win four championships, I know Miami will most likely be prepared. However, in the back of their minds, they have to to be a little concerned that this player who is seemingly quiet, never trash talks, or shows any kind of emotion is speaking to the press like this with confidence? Yeah, I think Miami might be in trouble.

With the exception of the majority of Miami and a lot of their bandwagon fanbase, no one likes Miami, and the fact that their team has brought that sort of reaction out of Tim Duncan is proof that they truly are the most hated team in the NBA.

I love that random people assume that Heat fans know nothing about basketball and will attempt to prove this. Like, a Heat fan posts about how the last game went, and the guy'll respond "f*** YOU MAN WHO WAS THE FIRST ROUNDER IN 93 AND WHAT COLLEGE DID HAROLD MINER GO TO AND HOW MANY INTERNS DID SPOELSTRA BANG SINCE HE STARTED WORKING HERE? ?". The hate can be entertaining, in a weird way.

Check it out!" ad campaign, they're ripe for ridicule. Lest we forget Fan Up.

The Timberwolves are described to be "ambivalent" about trading Kevin Love, according to league sources.

People who don't like the Heat are just fringe outliers.

People who don't like the Heat are just fringe outliers. So in other words, the amount of fans actively rooting against Miami is down to nearly half instead of everyone. It's almost as if they're winning people over or something.

People who don't like the Heat are just fringe outliers. So in other words, the amount of fans actively rooting against Miami is down to nearly half instead of everyone. It's almost as if they're winning people over or something. According to previous ESPN SportsNation polls (not scientific or anything but the best information I could cull), the rooting interest in 2012 was 63 percent Oklahoma City and 36 percent Miami. Last season, the numbers were 65 percent San Antonio 35 percent Miami. However, neither poll had "no strong rooting interest", unlike this years. However, despite having the third category, the Heat's rooting interest dipped from 36 percent to 35 percent to 28 percent. So either people are growing apathetic about the Heat or they hate them like they always have. Basically, all I'm trying to say is that people can't paint those of us who hate the Miami Heat as outliers who must not love beautiful basketball or whatever the most recent crap excuse is. There is no team that could play Miami that would have me rooting for the Heat. The Monstars from Space Jam could show up and challenge Miami to a game with the fate of humanity at stake, and I would gladly cheer for our new alien overlords before cheering for the Heat.
