I don't understand why they did it, but I also don't understand why you're all pitching a fit? Don't they have to take chances every now and again? Maybe it would have been smarter for them to fill that spot with someone who could use it, but can you fault the WWE for trying something risky? The status quo has to change at some point before it gets stale.
At least this is an interesting way to go.

This just doesn't make any sense from a story perspective. They beat Evolution handily, proved themselves the dominant team. I just don't get it. It was a swerve for swerve's sake.

They accomplished everything they needed to in sweeping Evolution. It makes sense that the guy with the rocket strapped to his ass was going to be the one who'd break away. Break away to the team they just beat conclusively twice? That makes no kinda sense. |

I knew the original Shield couldn't last forever, but damn it, I hate to see it ended. And the Shield just dominated Evolution in back to back PPVs, so it makes no sense.
