I honestly wouldn't be surprised. For all the "how can they ruin 3MB" posts, you have to counter that with them keeping Evan Bourne in payment despite doing nothing for two years, JTG and the likes the same. WWE aren't totally evil here.

On the bright side, we still have Xavier Woods to job out and they're not just gonna dump him right away My client Xavier Woods broke JTG's streak at Wrestlemania.

Will they release Darren Young since he's out injured? I wouldn't put it past them. Oddly enough, Tarver aside, NXT 1 rookies have been safer than virtually any other pre-Florida season of NXT. Hell more of them have stayed active on TV then then the pros they had that year.

Back to the money, though: Hell, Daniel Bryan mentioned in an interview with Jericho recently, that he made more on the Indies than in WWE until almost 2011. Even when he won the U.S. Title, MITB, and initially the World belt, he made more money working spot shows in gyms and ROH than in WWE. That's incredible. In fact, when he was initially fired in 2010, he wasn't even upset, because he knew the backlash of him getting fired would make him even more money there. And when WWE called him afterward, they, being the carnies in a bubble they are, were shocked and bewildered that he didn't even really care. He went to WWE to "try and make it", not because of money. But they thought , that a star should feel like their life has ended without them. It's amazing. And it's probably why Stephanie hates CM Punk so much. That said, guys like Luke "Doc" Gallows, Carlito, Chris Masters, MVP, etc. make/made way more money on indies than they did in WWE. And at the same time, a guy like Tensai took a huge pay loss to leave Japan to come back to WWE and potentially be a main eventer (like today's Rusev) only to see it all flop and now he just works as a commentator. It goes both ways. WWE isn't always the land of milk and honey unfortunately. A guy like Drew should be OK in time. But the guys I feel sorry for are the one's down the line who are exclusively taught WWE's style without any other legit experience. If discarded by WWE, they'll have to relearn to work in places wherein the opposite style and psychology is needed. So what will they do? WWE will have created automatons who can be plugged into their system fine. But these guys have no skills outside that, and will be cast out into nothing "if creative has nothing for them." There is life outside WWE. And often a better one. But really only for the guys who are smart. It's just the lure of being "on top" and thus making that Cena/Orton money is what drives most to go to WWE. And if you can make it, it's worth it. But for everyone else, your stint often ends with you in a costume putting over a midget. And this is why I love your posts. I'd thought only the biggest indy names were making more money than they would with WWE, and it was only that bad at the bottom of the card. I had no clue that even heavily featured guys are making more on the indies than they were in WWE. I guess people just strive to be at the very top, like any sport.

haha, I literally just bought a Brodus Clay rumbler figure for my cousin's playset! Maybe it was a sign!
Theres way too many people on the roster nowadays for me to care about those who have been released. Shame about 3MB I guess but don't all rock bands throw out the trash and hire new guys anyway. That could be a good goofy storyline for Heath and Hornswaggle to do.

I know that change in employee policy was a prelude to a mass of cuts of the dead weight that has been sitting around for so long. I damn knew it. Noone that I'll miss all that much on that list honestly? Drew McIntyre is the only guy I'd consider myself a fan of. What change in employmee policy? WWE added a program where any formerly contracted employee can apply for financial assistance and scholarships to college. officialfan.proboards.com/thread/500919/employees-benefits-offeredThere haven't been releases for such a LONG time unless there was a particular reason for it. Clearly the WWE decided that releasing employees without clear reason looked bad public relations wise. So when they created a safety net for those people I knew soon after they would release a bunch of the guys who had been sitting around collecting a paycheck for nothing.

You can say that they don't need Evan Bourne because they had better guys like Sami Zayn or Adrian Neville. But if Neville gets CRUSHED by Rusev, people will complain that he "deserves better" and "isn't being used right". You need a large handful of guys with "no hope" around so that the better guys can remain protected. And while they still have guys like Ryder, Slater, and Woods, you can't just rely on 3 guys to do all the jobbing because that just gets boring and repetitive.

JTG being shorn from the icy cliff-face that is the WWE undercard... The world is a little bit grayer. The birds sing a little softer. Children will be a bit less happier. Might as well have Rains of Castamere on repeat for the whole day. You rang

What f***ing bullshit. Five of them were minorities, all in the prime of their careers. I've been complaining about how white centric WWE has become lately, and now they release an Indian guy, a couple black guys, a Japanese guy and whatever Camacho is. Isn't this company supposed to appeal to a global demo? I don't understand getting rid of Brodus. He was over as a face, never got much a monster run. He could talk too but they never let him. It makes no sense to get rid of younger guys while forcing old broken down guys that want out of their contracts like Mysterio to stay. Tongan. Camacho is Tongan. Why did he spend his time on the main roster playing a Mexican cholo? Because WWE.

NOOOOOO!!!! NOT JUSTIN 'TITMAN' GABRIEL!!!!! Will laugh extremely hard if there's a legit "JTG!!!" chant on RAW next week...... I would love to see the YES! chant replaced with people yelling JTG. So after months of all the constant chants, the WWE finally caves from public pressure. Soon after, his music finally plays and nobody reacts because nobody remembers what his theme song sounded like.

I am just saying that a lot of these guys have had essentially free money from WWE for years doing no work for it. It isn't like WWE have just picked guys and fired them out of nowhere. These guys were doing nothing. Evan Bourne has no room to complain.
