If she only claims she was taking it back because it already belonged to her, then we have a new gimmick.....
Emma: Repo Gal.
....but seriously, this is no laughing matter.
This larceny case.
Not Repo Gal. That's friggin HILARIOUS.

Believe it or not, employers in many fields consider a crime like shoplifting to worse than DUI/DWI. What retarded employer would think that? Well, I can vividly remember in my final year of college when representatives from a professional standards group in my state spoke to us about entering the professional field. They used the terms "good crime" and "bad crime" and said that DUIs, while certainly not a good thing, are not considered as serious in terms of potential employees or employees, while shoplifting would be considered a "bad crime" which would make the potential job candidate or employee look untrustworthy. It definitely threw us off guard hearing that, but believe it or not, it seems to have been correct, at least from what situations I'm familiar with. I've been kind of surprised how often DUIs are pretty much forgiven, despite the bad press they can get if the word gets out.

and Ipod case? Not an iPod? If you're gonna get arrested for stealing, you'd think it wouldn't be over something you can get for $10. Either she's a klepto, or she probably forgot that she took it as she was leaving the store. I'm sure people will try to make this seem like she did a Mission Impossible-style theft, but Emma probably did just forget she had it and employees overreacted. It happens all the time. Some people steal stupid shit though. There doesn't have to be any deep-seeded reason or honest mistake either way.

I don't buy her being fired over this (at worst she's gotten closer to the "disposable" list for the next round of budget cuts). At this point she probably has to waft through pot clouds generated by Swagger and RVD backstage on a regular basis so instinctively being canned over a slap on the wrist crime (compared to say the Cameron incident which IMO is wayyyyyyy more serious) would be dumb. Now does it make her get punished with a negative push (since she's already at a no push whatsoever level)? Yeah, I'd see that happening.

This is easily more entertaining than anything she's done on Raw.

Shes most likely canned. Doing it elsewhere might have gotten a slap on the wrist, but in the company's backyard... Which would look great the next time they go to Florida and 3 or 4 people pick up DUIs. Good point, always forget about NXT and DWI Land

Before we go on writing her professional obituary, I'd like to remind everyone that just under half of the current roster got DUI's just before getting called up. Cameron got a DUI and (allegedly) bribed a cop. Kaitlyn got busted for an old DUI only months before winning the Diva's championship. Hell, Tiffany stayed on for another year after a domestic assault, and firing her wouldn't have even been a real loss.
Emma pocketed a ten dollar phone case and forgot to pay for it. She'll be alright.

I've only got one thing to say about this situation.
Why isn't her name Emma Dashwood?

Wait and see. We were SURE Cameron would get get suspended or fired after the details of her arrest were getting out. I think she got a 15-day suspension, the shortest suspension I can remember, shorter than Jericho's flag suspension.

I get they need to be thorough, but was the anal cavity search really necessary?

She never returned to TV after the incident. The report on the Observer website says it was an Ipod that Emma tried to shoplift, not an Ipod cover.

Let's think up more potential crimes for NXT divas!
Charlotte ends up in jail after a night out with dear old dad.
Alexa Bliss gets arrested for excessive littering after she blows glitter all over the floor at a gym.
Bayley gets an assault charge for randomly hugging some lady at the airport.

once I put a chocolate on my pocket, not because I wanted to steal it but because I wanted to use my hands to hold other things (was a mini market so carts weren't avaliable) before paying I recall that I had a chocolate on my pocket anpull it off.
Shoplifting could be unintentional
