Seth is not THAT hard. Some characters it took longer to beat him with, but it never took that long. Shao Khan in Mortal Kombat 9's Story Mode? I think I actually had to quit for a whole day before I beat him.
Anyway, do all the characters have new opening/ending cutscenes like with Super SFIV? Or is it just the new characters? I have to say I'm glad Elena finally made it in, I just wish they'd go ahead and make a fifth one already so we don't have to wait another decade. But who am I kidding, that's exactly how long it will take.

As a single player game, yes, it does indeed suck. The real fun comes from 2-player competition, as was the case with Mortal Kombat II. The weird thing is that Street Fighter II and even the Street Fighter Alpha games had really good, fair single-player quests. Insanely cheap end bosses became the norm from Street Fighter III onward. Honestly, I had a harder time with Bison in SFA3 then I ever did with Seth, even when Bison was on the easiest difficulty. SFA3's M. Bison isn't especially difficult once you learn how to deal with his Super Psycho Crusher attack. Basically, you need to play extremely defensively (only throw three or so crouching punches or kicks if you block an attack that leaves Bison vulnerable when he's right next to you) and, no matter what, refrain from jumping until Bison has depleted his X-Ism meter by executing the Super Psycho Crusher attack. Once the attack has been executed and Bison's X-Ism meter is anywhere from empty to about 80% full, be as aggressive and outgoing toward him as you like, treating him as any other opponent you'd take on. I actually have a much harder time beating Adon and Chun Li in SFA3 than M. Bison. Zangeif can also be very hard to beat with characters like Vega on the highest difficulty.

Vega is my main, so I learned how to zone pretty well with him. Zangief can be a challenge, but he's manageable once you get the claw range down. It's basically a game of keepaway, poke him with crouching medium or fierce, than use the flips or wall jumps to create space when you need to. Also, this reminds me that I was completely unable to beat anyone with T. Hawk in that game. Screw that guy.

But who am I kidding, that's exactly how long it will take. All characters have their own opening/ending cutscenes, but not all are made equal. Virtually no thought or effort was put into Oni's opening cutscene, for instance. Shao Kahn isn't hard for me to beat in MK9. All I need to do is stay as far away from him as possible until he taunts me, at which point I should launch a projectile attack or jump kick him if I can make it to him in time. If I'm evading him from the opposite corner of the screen, the one key thing is to make sure that I don't make the mistake of ducking or doing a crouching block when he throws his hammer at me, as that move cannot be blocked and is very damaging.

Meh. Omega mode doesn't interest me now that I finally found a way to get half-decent netplay out of USF4 on the PC by using a program called Tunngle. No more wasting time trying to get decent netplay experiences playing USF4 over Steamworks.

I've lost fights to Seth where he literally spammed the same move over and over until I died. f*** Seth

the only street fighter game I've ever played, and still own is street fighter II: special champions edition on genesis. I am thinking if getting ultra sfiv when it comes out on ps4 in the spring. cause street fighter v, who knows when that'll be out, I'm gonna guess early 2016
