What else would expect from a guy who takes a .283/.377/.382 guy with 4Hr/34RBI/3SB (own player) over a guy at .287/.343/.490 with 13HR/53RBI/8SB that plays the same position.

Puig showing no hustle makes Jeter 2-for-2.

Tom Verducci went to the high school I attended/currently work at, he's class of '78 and the football field there is named for his uncle (I think? Might've been his father).
Outside of that fact, this broadcast is nauseating. Even the anthem was wretched, and I usually expect a lot better from that singer...I totally forget her name now.

She is the Wick-ed-ly Tal-en-ted Adele Dalzeem.

Meanwhile, the game is almost over and honestly no one really stood out for the MVP. I mean Jeter is 2-for-2 but is that really enough for the award?

Right now I'd say Trout or Jeter with the going away vote.

A person with knowledge of the situation told Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle that Brady Aiken has a "cut-and-dry" issue with his left ulnar collateral ligament

AL gets home-field advantage as they win 5-3. Now lets see if Jeter does indeed get the MVP.
Nope. Mike Trout.

On the 39 year anniversary of the 1975 ASG, this SHOULD have been another co-MVP between either of Trout/Cabrera/Jeter.
Sorry, but the ball was dropped. Should have been two of Jeter/Cabrera/Trout splitting.
Or really go outside the box and have a tri-MVP.
Sorry, but Trout gets ONE triple and basically gets everything. Meanwhile, Cabrera hit a 2-run bomb.
