What do you think? #10 needs to be higher but otherwise it's fine. #1 isn't bad. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}10. Bret "Hitman" Hart, Raw, 12/28/2009 9. Chris Jericho, Raw, 11/19/2007 8. Hulk Hogan, No Way Out, 2/17/2002 7. Sting, WCW Nitro, 1/22/1996 6. Shawn Michaels, Raw, 7/22/2002 5. Edge, Royal Rumble, 1/31/2010 4. Brock Lesnar, Raw, 4/2/2012 3. Triple H, Raw, 1/7/2002 2. The Rock, Raw, 2/14/2011 1. John Cena, Royal Rumble, 1/27/2008 Just for the record, the date of the Sting return was December 28, 1997. I believe the length of time between this appearance and the previous appearance was two months. If that makes a list of 'returns' then by all means, Undertaker should have made the list since his breaks in appearances were usually longer. Also, I think Sean Waltman's 1998 return deserved an honorable mention...not sure if it got one. Undertaker was the "Above & Beyond" for the week for his 8 million returns

I'm surprised HHH wasn't #1 but if this is true fan voting, then I guess it sounds right. I agree that Bret Hart should be ranked higher.

Damn, that episode must suck really hard. I agree with Professor Chaos. But then, I voted in Demolition just for the sake of wanting to see them winning a poll.

About the Returns poll, I would have probably ranked Triple H's return as #1, of all these 10. But IMO, it was not a bad list at all, and a good episode. A shame that The Ultimate Warrior's 1992 return wasn't on the list though.

I was debating between Trips' and Cena's, and decided that Cena should get it, purely because most people thought he'd be gone for six more months at the time, and Trips' return was advertised. Looks like I was proven right, and they even put The Rock above Trips, also for the same surprise(ish) factor (it did get spoiled for some people a few minutes before).

Cena's 2008 return was an absolute mindscrew. No one could believe that. #1 spot for certain.
Bret's return was a huge deal but that crowd was not thunderous. The tease back in 2006 when Shawn was briefly heel and they played Bret's music, though; THAT was thunderous.
What were the circumstances of Edge's 2010 return? I've never gotten that one's inclusion on Top 10 lists.
I'll say I'm rather surprised HHH was only at #3. That was an insane pop - from a crowd that'd just been through the inVasion - that is tough to match. In comparison, it dwarfed even Rock's 2011 pop. Ah well.

Bret was included just because he buried the hatchet with HBK. 2.) Edge's 2010 return was him coming back from a torn Achilles (an injury that is very difficult to come back from, especially in wrestling) and dealing with Jericho, which led to their WM encounter that year.

Ultimate Warrior's return at Wrestlemania 8 is one of the greatest of all time, the crowd response was amazing. The Undertaker at Judgement Day 2000 was also.
